Dear Hugh,
We have been to Hedo 11 and still cannot erase the knowing smile every time I have cause for recall. I cannot recommend it highly enough PROVIDED you are the type to get involved with every distraction they offer, EVEN AS A BLOKE ON YOUR OWN.
It is mainly couples from America who dominate but they had customers from all over the world and all ages when we were there. Most people are happy to socialise with you and see where it goes from there. I do not wish to spoil it for you by giving you a breakdown of every pleasure we enjoyed but I can tell you we were glad to be coming home for a decent nights sleep simply because of the late night hot tub escapades and early mornings, there were not enough hours in the day to enjoy everything and fully recover for the next day. Every day seemed to get better than the day before and we were suffering from pleasure overload by the end of our stay.
We did pay for a local wood artist/sculpturist to carve our names Graham & Joyce into one of the beach trees but never had the chance to check it out so if you get a blank moment, we would appreciate confirming he did the job and not simply kept our money. The artist was the one who carved the main wooden statute in front of the nude beach so is well known.
I am happy to tell you more but I would simply suggest you have a big memory card on your digital camera and be prepared to be UNBRITISH ie loud and drunken, you will spoil it for yourself if you do. Allow yourself to make friends with all and everyone by joining in all the sports and competitions and then you can make an arse of yourself along with everyone else.
I hope it become a holiday you will never ever forget. It is an experience every one should have at least once. Enjoy.
