Thanks for your post Jomu, it’s nice to get an honest answer. We were trying to the opposite – show that it’s not seedy men driving round in their cars hoping to get lucky – that dogging is about the couples and individuals who enjoy the outdoor and swinging side of it, which having read many of the posts in the forums is the way dogging comes across. The show we’re trying to make (obviously with difficulty as people have been stung by TV companies too many times) is an accurate portrayal of dogging and breaking the stereotypes people have of it (such as dirty old men etc), or even of alternative sex lives.

At the moment I’m working a TV show for the Midlands area called , which looks into alternative sex lives and relationships and looking at how sex lives have developed. The show is serious and very open-minded; we’re not trying to depict anyone in a bad way. We’d love to meet a brave person interested in dogging to give us your side.
The show is trying to educate the masses about alternative lifestyles, although understandably the difficulty is trying to get people to take part in such a show.
We’d like to spend the day with you and interview you about what you get up to, not anything graphic really. Any interest in appearing or just some good old-fashioned advice would be welcomed. There would be a small fee for anyone willing to appear. As much discretion and secrecy as possible promised (considering that it’s on TV!).
