Tried posting this before but doesn't seem to have appeared. Basically I think this is a non starter for me, I was told it was near Birmingham. But if I have to go to Wolverhampton by train then get a bus, all after a whole days work I might just be fit for nothing once I get there. Pity, as I rather fancied it but unless I can find someone to give me a lift I might, sadly, have to back out.

So my question to these people is this ? Were you never "the new kids on the block" ? Did you manage to suddenly insinuate yourselves into a clique ?
Give the newer or more reticent among us a break - don't tar us all with the same brush, don't jump on us when we happen to post - unless your motive is to keep this forum as a closed shop - and don't presume to answer for someone else. It's rude if nothing else.

I don't really want to get involved with this, but I'm not sure how you can apply a lot of that to this place.
I have a low postcount simply because I prefer the 'live' chat environment of the chatroom (many here will recognise me) and I simply don't have the time to keep up with the forum boards.
I do have to say though that on the few occasions where I have come and posted here, everyone has been fairly nice. Okay sometimes my posts do get overlooked, but I realise that this is probably because there are a lot of idiots who post for a few days than never come back and the regulars probably can't be arsed.
This is very similar in the chatroom.
There are a lot of idiots in there, predominantly they are single guys, it is also sometimes hard to brea into the chat because of all the people who know eachother. But with a little effort, I found it fairly easy to chat to people.
I'm not saying you are one of the idiots, I'm not even trying to ppass judgement on you or your experiences, I am simply telling you how I have found it.
Try just drawing a line under it all mate and starting again. This is a great bunch of people and it is well worth the effort.
