I'm working from home today, got lot's of real work to do. also have lots of other things to do, such as packing, ringing utility companies getting phone/broadband sorted out in new house, the list is endless and I don't know where to start.
I did promise my boss that I would get some long overdue admin sorted but I keep looking at it shuffling it about and looking at something else instead.
i think it's going to be a long day.........

Just got home after a great night in an absolutely fantastic venue with an equally fabulous DJ

I know there are quite a few people who have met off here over the years, and some of those are now married and some with children as well. Saying that I am not sure a swinging site is perhaps the ideal place to come looking for a partner.
Saying that I have managed to find a partner on this scene even though I wasn't for a moment looking for one, so maybe that is the best way to do it.
Would never have believed I would fall head over heels in love with someone I met through swinging, was always perfectly happy being a single guy and having fun but that is exactly what I have done. And it is the most wonderful thing because there is no need to be ashamed of my past as a swinger or hide anything from her.

the bbq in the thunder and lightening on saturday was an experience all on its own, were the flames really supposed to be that high :shock:

My first car was a little 1.0 nissan micra which i learnt to drive in, needed a clutch by the time i past my test, but it was a great little run around.
Once i got a bit more confident on the road i progressed onto 'His' 3 lt supra that was cool..... till i blew the engine up ...
We got that fixed up then part ex'd it for a 2 lt Avensis that we shared
Then last year part ex'd the Avensis for my mitsubishi Carisma 1.9 summat or other, and a few weeks later He got His mitsubishi 3 lt GTO import.

There is quite a lot of research into the problems it causes in some people. Short term use shouldn't cause any problems.
This is why i took my current medication with me, and asked for the pharmacists advice rather than just asking over the counter. Both he, the pharmacist, and the packaging clearly stated that the product should not be used continuously for more than 3 months.
I did also check later in the week with my GP about using it, as occasionally i have to take prescribed steroids too for other reasons.
So all in all to get through a tough hay fever period it is safe to use.
As an all year round allergy sufferer, i am permanantly on some sort of medication which treats the majority of syptoms, however this last fortnight has been horendous, to the point i gave up with tissues and toilet to blow my nose on, i went straight for the kitchen roll instead...
Anyway, with the fact that i was starting a new job last monday looming closer, i was desparate to get some sort of relief for the the almost non stop sneezing i was having, so armed with all my usual medication i trotted off to the local chemist spoke with the pharmacist who was a really nice and helpful chap and left with this tiny bottle of nasal spray (about )
woo hoooooo.. for the first time in i don't know how many years, i have now gone a whole week without having hourly sneezing fits every day, and have even been able to reduce my usual daily medication.
its the chemists own brand stuff, but the main ingrediant in it is Beclometasone Dipropionate so i'm sure you can get it at most other chemists,

not doing a huge list of naming people, as it was great to see so many familiar faces again, i'd forgotten what a great bunch of people you lot were and it was so good to just mingle amongst you all
but there's a few special mentions i must make,
Firstly Dammieand HLB for organising such a fantastic do, was really good to see you guys again and in such great form too
And also biggie thanks to new2trot and Midlandsman1970 for talking me into going in the first place, letting me invade there home yet again for somewere to stay, and also for the wonderful chaufeuring service to and from the venue

then waking up to do it all over again, before coming back down to earth over 2 hours of coffee
