Have just got back from visiting Paul and he is looking a heck of a lot better. We took a copy of all the messages that you have sent and they made him smile.
He must be getting better as he was taking the P… out of Dave but then that isn’t too hard to do. He is now a typical reformed non smoker now. He is walking about a little but is still very tired.
All being well he might be able to go home tomorrow and then he has to take things slowly although he is talking about changing his cam belt …………………. I think the look I gave him made him change his mind and then there is Olive to get passed lol.
Anyway handing over to boss who will once again as if by magic post it to the relevant sites.

Tonight’s Update
Spoke to Olive on the phone tonight and Paul is now off the heart monitors and breathing without the oxygen supply. So the good is news that he is on the mend. However the Doctors have again stated that it will be a long slow process.

Hi all
Thank you for all the lovely postings that you have sent for Paul and Olive.
We have just spoken to Olive and this is the latest up date.
Paul is stable and being carefully monitored. He is looking better but still very tired. Olive has said that some of his sense of humour is returning not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
Olive is not sure how to log into the sites but will try her best to read all your personal messages. We have copied a lot of them and are going to print them off and when we next visit him will take them with us for him to read. At the moment Paul is in a hospital over an hour away from where they live so we will up date you at about this time in the evening when she will have got home from visiting. One thing he has to do other than rest and get better is give up smoking which will be difficult and he keeps asking Olive to smuggle fags in for him of which her reply is “don’t be so ridiculous” one of her favourite sayings.
Olive herself sounds a lot happier and has got her family staying with her giving her moral support which we think you all will understand that that is what she needs. She does say a big thank you to all your offers of help and support.
I will now hand over to the expert who will transfer this info to the relevant sites.

Hi All
Paul and Olive have asked us to post this message on their behalf.
Last night Paul suffered a fairly major heart attack and is currently in hospital. The paramedics were able to reach him quickly and importantly give him the life saving drugs quickly. His condition is described by the Doctors as critical but stable, the next few days being critical. We will be going down to see him on wed evening, if any of you want to send him a message please do via us and we will print them off to take to him.
Please keep both Paul and Olive in your thoughts over the next few days.
