Well..what can we say..big thanks to Somerset couple for organising a great social - we really appreciate all the work that goes in to organising these :thumbup: ). It was good to meet new people from out of our area, and we met lots of really nice people last night!!!
Also, big thanks to Anais for arranging the pre-social drinks, great idea for newbies to meet some people before the main event!!

I know this topic has been covered many times before, and its definitely not allowed, would be open to too much abuse!!!
These things happen,we are selling a vehicle, someone rang Saturday, they were given all the info..said they would be round in about 45 minutes.
They never turned up!!
So why being a swinger should we expect to be exempt from no shows !! It happens all the time in all walks of life!! So we have to deal with it, and move on!
No shows or last minute cancellations happen to couples too !!
We don't arrange meets now except with people we have met numerous times at socials, because we have been friends first socially before, this works for us. Just arranging to meet in a pub for a drink never did!!

Well..whilst reading Forums and making the occasional post, on the whole we prefer the chat rooms. We like the banter and comradeship we find in our regular room (Mids). Especially now we have been to a few socials and have met a lot of the regular chatters!! As for the whispers just ignore them..they give up after a couple of lines when there is no response.
Some accuse the local rooms of being a bit cliquey, which can be true in all walks of life when a group of people know each other..but most of the people are friendly enough!!
So come in and say hello sometime!!!
