a follow on from what neilinleeds as said...
citalopram is a member of the selective serotonin re uptake inhibitor (SSRI) group of anti depressent drugs. it gradually improves the patients mood , increases physical activity, and restores interest in everyday activites.
citalopram is generally well tolerated and any gastrointestinal adverse effects, such as nausea, vomiting, or several trips to the toilet every 5 minutes, are dose related and usually diminsh with continued use of the drug.
like other SSRIs citalopram causes fewer antcholinergic side effects and is less sedating than the tricyclic anti depressents. it is also likely to be be harmful if taken in an overdose, it can however cause drowsiness and impair performance if used with alcohol, as this may increase the sedative effects in citalopram.
mixing alcohol can be very dangerous when taken in combination with other drugs,especially Barbiturates, Her**n, Metha****, and tranquillisers such as anti depressants, anti histamines and painkillers. mixing these drugs as led to many fatal overdoses.
the advised safe limits for adults to drink over per week "not all at once" are a maximum of 14 units for woman and 21 units for men (1 unit + half pint of standard strength beer or a small glass of wine or a pub measure of spirits)

might be abit boring, this to some people, and other people may not know who the hell i'm talking about...but i used to organise Raves in germany in the early 90's....and i used to deal on a daily with the likes of laurent garnier, sven vath, DJ SS, Rat Pack, Paul Oakenfold etc....thats until it all went abit pear shaped at the 1994 Love Parade in Berlin.....

myself and sophie went to the Move Concert at old trafford in the summer...MORRISSEY was excellent, but deciding on my favourite gig..it as to be Happy Mondays in 94...what a concert....but then again New Order in 90 were quite good...erm....and the Stone Roses were good at spike island as well....i just cant make up my mind.....right got it....The Tweenie live show at Alton Towers that the one.......that fizz is a right mover...lol...well the kids enjoyed it.....and i had my picture taken with milo....lmao

i know how you all feel....3 kids, work, no bathroom (been ripped out and new one not in yet) and my big brothers both going through mental health problems..... i'm there too!!

perhaps one of your problems was your second comment...... "fit in with the crowd" i don't know about anyone else i but i love individuality..... that is why i fell in love with nige...he is an individual...a one off... try to be you and not what other people expect you to be!

I take great offence to that posting MrFC... :boxing: i was a scoutleader for a number of years and the scouts in my care never once had any injuries.... apart from a child with concussion after a full sized goal post fell on his head... :scared: ohh and a child who fell out of a canoe in full uniform and sunk...ohhh and the one that choked on his BBQ'ed sausage...and the one who set light to his camp blanket and had to be dropped and rolled.

i think it is a really strange concept to even imagine....... i have made mistakes in my life and have cocked up big time on more occasions then i care to remember......BUT.....saying that i would not change anything...as all the bad times and problems in our lives not just mine make us who we are, better stronger people..who are able to deal with worse problems as they arise!!! so i like to take what life has thrown at me on the chin and laugh! the best cure all i believe.
