Hi,
Another newbie here, is this an invitation only event - I know it says all welcome on the first message but as I read more I got the feeling I might not be welcome.
Keep up the ace work, the southwest is an ideal point for me and I would love to have a drink and meet some new friends/introduce myself.

Hi, I may be new here but I think it is an excellent idea.
As a newbie I would like to be able to say hello and to make some new friends (hopefully).
Once I am known and trusted if I got an invite to this or similar I would jump at the chance - all the others seem so far away.
Sorry to jump in on this thread but I just wanted to say thanks for the further south efforts you are making Jim!

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd brave it and introduce myself...
