Your life is very precious, be careful, use common sense when playing around, but an aids test maybe to omuch of a drawn out affair and can still be a waste of time.
Not many people would have had an aids test already, even in the GU Clinic where the tests are carried out, they discourage the males from getting a test unless he's been exposed to a very high chance of infection, such as homosexual bareback sex or sleeping with known aids carriers, as they say it's quite rare for a male to catch it off a one off sexual encounter, it's usually the woman or the gay men who would be more likely to catch it, as they say.
And I believe you have to go through counceling before they give you the test, then you can get the results in writing, but you have to wait a few weeks before they get the results back, and it won't specify anything about what the test was for, for confidentiality reasons, it will just say 'recent test proved clear', or soemthing to that effect. It also takes upto 3 - 6 months to be picked up on and diagnosed in a test so you don't know what they may have caught within the last few months..
