I am also about 40 miles north of London and looking to get some experience....I think the idea of a meet with just a few invites is best.....especially if I get invited! Best of luck.
Well I have always found that folks in Leeds are confident and bold....so I am always surprised to find so little going on! All I can really advise is that you keep your eye on things and who nose what could happen lol.
