Yes we are well too and i agree with you every step of the way. Miss the "Good Old Days" and the socials. But hey we have made a lot of friends from the site and still keep in touch with a lot of them.

Come on folks. Lets get something organised and meet up for drinks and a laugh and get meeting again. Thats why we are on here isnt it???? It just takes one good night and folk will go again to other nights out and you never know we might even get the Scotsroom back up and running!!!! LOL
OK! Let's try again! I tried to organise a night where couples could meet up for drinks in the Edinburgh area a while back and didnt get much response, especially from couples which is really what the main purpose of this is. The socials have stopped and there doesnt seem to ever be a Scotsroom on here and if there is its mostly single guys.
We are really looking to get couples meeting again, socially initially and if folk get on well even better. Apart from that it's a night out! I'm not saying single guys arent welcome, it might be what some couples are looking for although if it is im sure they are not hard to find, its mainly for couples to get together for a drink and hopefully lead to fun and friendship and possibly more nights out!
If you interested in getting something organised let me know and we will try get a venue and time arranged.

Well folks....looks like we havent had much of a response for a drinks social in Edinburgh. I honestly dont understand folk who want to meet folk and have fun but cant make the effort to meet up for socials and get to know folk. Looks like it wont be going ahead unless we get any an i influx of responses which i doubt now. Thanks to the folk who showed interest and if anyone has any further suggestions please feel free to do so.

Where to begin...As there are no socials organised by anyone anymore and when there is people cancel at last minute causing the organisers grief which isnt fair why dont we try to get something organised in the form of just a few drinks in a pub somewhere. The Scots room seems to have died a death and having spoke to couples we know from past events everyone misses the social side of things. How many folk would be interested in meeting in a pub in Edinburgh somewhere and see how we all get on, at least it gives folk a night out and a chance to meet with like minded folk and we can take things from there? If anyone is intersted in trying to get this organised could u msg me and we can see how things take off.

Ur right in what your saying Macca but how many of those 11 folks would turn up....i guess less than half of them....having been to a few things in our times folk that say they are going either dont turn up or cancel at last minute leaving a small minority. Some of the folk have said depending on the date would depend on if they turned up....maybe we should make a date and put it in the forum and see what happens. As i said originally even if not many folk turn up i suppose its still a night out.
