I agree, there is no substitute for the real thing but I find it pleasing to see them creating new Northern Soul style music. You never know a Northern Soul track may get played on the internet which doesn't require an internet connection.

The Renault ad makes me smile (the Britain & France one) with the Nina Simone soundtrack. Reminds me of a book called A Year In The Merde which made me laugh out loud in places.
