We've now got confirmation that our usual venue is re-opening so it's that time again. Saturday 25th October is the day, 8ish is the the place, drop either Jus or Gypsy-queen a pm and we'll put you on the list. Its a new landlord, so lets break him in gently - just a gentle drink and good conversation - no facilities for play but thats not the idea.

Edit: 23/9 We've been for a check it out visit and the l/lord has asked that if anyone is planning on eating could they book about a week before - drop either of us a pm for the phone number. Numbers are now up to 18 singles (ladies as well as guys) and 18 couples so it's looking good!! (bor)

Hi Ff - oh yes!!! it takes a while to get accepted, I know , I was once a single guy, but if you keep plugging away in the local chatroom you'll eventually become a regular. We often have room-socials (usually in a pub lol) and thats where arrangements are often made for 'proper' people like to put faces to nick-names before committing themselves - just be patient and you'll get yours.

We live a bit further down the A14 but have just discovered Xscape near cambridge and fully intend to become semi-regulars there (its about 45 mins fron gypsy's, twice that from mine). We should be there again on the 2nd of August so if you're about come and say 'Hi'.

Welcome to the madhouse - Just don't follow Harry too far - you might end up in the middle of a forest. Seriously tho' what everyone has said is spot-on. We've organised and been to a number of meets and socials around the Anglia region and nothing happens overnight but we've built up a great core of very good mates (some of whom we play with, some just good drinking buddies) Stick your toes in the water of the chatrooms and you'll be made welcome - sometimes things seem a bit 'cliquey' but just look on it as poking your nose round the door of a new pub and you won't go far wrong.

Scott - believe me - they are!! norfolksuffolk - keep an eye out in the chatroom - its where the news will break first. We can't really see the pub we used to use staying shut up for long, it seems someone is about as the grass in the big kids playground (ask foxxyyy lol) has been cut - we'll have a trawl up the a140 on saturday and report back.

Sassy, you'll have a great time - we've put a review on the 'clubs' page but we'd like to add there is absolutely no pressure to 'perform' if you don't feel like downstairs area has a great atmosphere for chatting and chilling and everyone is very welcoming. Enjoy!! (we did lol)

GUYS WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!!! it appears the pub we intended to use (and have done so before) has gone bust or been closed down by the local morals committee. Does anyone have any suggestions of a friendly boozer nearish to Diss that we could descend upon?? Please PM me or Gypsy-queen with your ideas. The idea is to aim for somewhere mid-way beatween Norwich, Yarmouth and Ipswich.

Theres not a lot we can add to what everyone else has said - it was a cracking day and we love your home Rod. The highlight for me (apart from a flashing Mrs 2gs, of course) was the barn owl hunting along the rover bank as we returned to the the low point was missing the famous Harry Jones - and yes, I did doze off on the way home. Again big thanks to Sids for the organisation and thanks for making us all so welcome Rod.
