That contradicts itself, therefore what worries me is if people are willing to change the TOS to suit themselves then what else will be passed on?

If munches are going to become so PC in future, that only behavior found in your local pub/family pub is tolerated -
That means no skimpy outfits, no flashing, no discreet (and consenting) groping of each other etc etc it also means that there is to be no snogging of other peoples partners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After all this is NOT acceptable behavior in your local pub, therefore if we are to go down that route it is NOT acceptable behavior at a munch.
I suppose a discreet peck on the cheek and a quick hug is the only thing that is PC
I hope the current and any future munch organizers can run munches of this basis, as there will be more people policing the events than attending to be able to keep up with it all.

As for munches, I would suggest that anything you see on a beach or page 3, similar to the avatars, is acceptable. So that means tits and ass.

I think this thread is going round in circles a bit, everyone has different ideas of what is acceptable with the general consensus that live sex shows are not.

Word to the wise thou, DON'T install their software. You can still run AOL from IE/firefox etc. That way it can't take over every application on your computer and if at a future date you do decide to move, it's just a matter of changing your router details.

If you have a valid reason that can be explained and if necessary proved why another member shouldn't be allowed to go. If you feel uncomfortable for yourself and others about that person going, then you should be supported in that decision. (I'm not on about the "I don't like that person, that person cheated on my friend etc etc)

actually, thats a good point about avatar pics - my first few Munches & Socials were done entirely on the basis of recognising folk from their avatar rather than name... if I could recall av pics I could recall posts - and that gave me something to talk to them about :idea: worked well til we went through a phase of changing avatars
I would think its a nightmare for the badge-makers though ...although I personally would like to see the return of it :thumbup:mmmmm to give a serious answer to that Dark and anyone else who wondered why it stopped, here goes
1. Too many cock type avatars.
2. Too many generic avatars.
3. Size of names - when you have something like Tracey Mrs Ilikegivingmenblowjobs, its hard to fit just the name on the badge never mind an avatar picture.
4. Most badges now are specific to the event therefore have a 'theme' to them, therefore once again not enough room to put avatar pictures on them.
5. Only a handful wanted them, it was getting to the stage where it was taking hours to find out what people wanted on badges.
6. It takes time to find out what people want on their badges and thats just the names, I personally contact everyone that has never had a badge from me before and have a badge database of over 1,500 name, tracing these people takes time especially if they are newbies or dont post on the forums.
7. What do you put on the badge if they dont have an avatar or are too rude to reply to the pm asking.
8. Time - every avatar has to saved to my computer with their name and each one needs to be loaded onto the badge.
9. A lot of people change their avatars regualarly, therefore I would have to check each person individually.
Saying all that, if people come to me with special requests or I see an opportunity arise such as Dambuster's and HuxleyPigs badges, then I am always willing to try. :)
