Were a couple in our mid thirties.
This Friday (4th March) we are up in Northampton for a meet with a single guy.

Can`t help you with this directly I`m afraid.
But why not get yourself a digital camera ? The problem will then go away. Also, your images will be more or less ready to post / email without scanning.
For £50 these days, you`ll get a more than adequate digital camera.
You could spend £50 in a flash if you carry on down the "traditional" route.
