Sorry folks maybe I phrased this all wrong 
its not a techie question I just wanted to know if anyone had used this type of thing before,basically the system the lads have at school is one where they can plug in with a standard 6mm jack lay a track down burn it to maybe if the bass player put a track down he could then give it to the lead guitar player who could use it for practicing with
I will now go and stand in the corner and wait for the next round of abuse 8)

Hi folks i'm afraid this has nothing to do with swinging,but I am looking for a bit of advice about the creative platinum live Is going to be a christmas present and I would like to hear off anyone who has used one of these devices or who knows if it is possible to plug an instrument like an electric guitar in and record onto the hard drive. Thanks in advance.
