New SH Chat Beta Test: You can now test the chat simply by going to the Chatroom Section, and clicking on the buttons labelled 'Launch Beta Chat' or 'Launch Desktop Chat'. We need as many people as possible to test it, so feel free to spend as much time in there as you can!

How about putting the "Launch Beta Chat" and "Launch Desktop Chat" links above "Extras Lounge" and "Enter The Chatroom" on the chatroom welcome page? Might get more people clicking through to the new chatroom.
I can't see cameras in the new room and my cam won't work in the new room. Just get the circle of dots till it times out and say unable to connect to video server.
Cams work perfectly in old rooms.
Problem is the same in Beta chat and in Desktop chat. I have the latest version of IE8 and the latest version of Adobe Flash.
This machine is XP - could that be the cause?
Cams worked in the new rooms a few days ago but I can't remember if I was on my other machine which is Vista (not here at the mo so can't try it) or whether it was this XP machine.
Anyone else with Windows XP had problems with cams in the new room? Or anyone with XP got cams working OK in the new room?
UPDATE
Cams now working in new room. The dots go round for about 40 seconds before others' cams appear and also takes about 40 seconds for the Allow/Deny options to come up when I turn my cam on - but then it works fine.
Since my post above I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Flash and also got the latest XP updates installed. No idea if that fixed it or if it was just co-incidence.

Hi,
How about putting the room opener's name at the end of the room title?
So rather than "Wife wants two young guys" and everyone who comes in asks 'whose wife?' the room title would be "Wife wants two young guys (Sexy2ofus)".
Mike

Mike, whilst Elliott/Admin will probably answer, I have a partial answer. Namely, in a room the 'room host' is identified at the top of the Members/Chatters listing (similar to OPs being at the top when they are in the room)
OK doesn't get around the room title suggestion, but at least in 'version 1' of the new Chat people will at least be able to determine the room host.
Hope this helps
Putting the opener's name at the top of the chatters list is just as good as putting it in the room title. Great! Many thanks.
Hi,
New chat room is great - look forward to it going live. One suggestion:
