if said person had deleted the pics when asked then surely there would have been no trouble
and in turn nothing to report to anyone
as many people have said already no means NO

naughty, spot on...if the said person had deleted them when requested, that would have been an end to the issue full stop, and i personally would have though that this was a really decent person for respecting others wishes. however.... ya know the rest

Surely if someone was taking photos all the photos would show are friends in a pub having a drink? The only ones who would have a problem with that would be the attached men/women who should be with their wives/husbands or partners or those who have something to hide by being out on that night.
We are talking about a social in a bar and not swingers swinging at a swingers club. Most people have phone cameras now are we going confiscate them at the door and employ bouncers to physically remove people from socials?

hello try, I do see your point, but as naughtynotts stated, everyone has the right to say NO, democrecy.
Also, its not just the attatched/married people that do not want their pictures displayed. What i get up to in my private time is just , if we choose to keep this discrete, surely its our perogitive.???
Very well put over there Mrs Benson ..
and yeah, I have made me feelings known to SH admin, as I am of the same belief of you. a polite no means NO.
hi sara, no problem.
unfortunatly I dont have the inlination or time to spend reading every single forum post.
please ould you specify more details of where to look.
thanx
Hi all,
im just curious about other peoples opinions and interpretations of the rules regarding taking photos of others at social events.
My interpretation is that you must ask EVERYONE that is or will be included in the photograph for their permission, and if certain members do not give permission, then the photograph must be deleted.
A certain individual at a certain social would not agree to this.
Please give me your opinions.
Thanks
I just want to give a big thank you to Laura & Ant.
THEIR first time at organising a social, my 2nd time full stop.
Had a great night, barman slow, but cant hold that against ya.
Thanks for sticking with it, when some are only too eager to ctiticise.
Anyways, cant wait till the next one.
