.... and it's been a while since I wrote that.
Thanks to everyone involved in setting up and delivering the Wigan Munch. Special thanks to NWC for nurturing me before and giving me the sense of spirit to take the wonderweb out to hemline. What's the point to lacy stocking tops if you can't enjoy em?
Last night was my first Munch. Initially I was a tad nervous to say the least, so much so I'm not sure how I got down those steps in my heels whilst trying not to scare the natives by the length of the uniform. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted with such a warm welcome, huge relief, thank you. Thanks also to everyone that made us so comfortable, it was an absolute pleasure to meet people, not to mention the fun on the dance floor. My feet are still sore from the dancing, apologies to anyone who got caught up in me trying to emulate Boroughb's masterclass in camp dancing.
Lovely to meet you too Essex34, glad you were well attended to at the medical base, these Surgeons can be oh so very attentive! :wink:
Right I best go and make arrangements to return the uniform to the NHS before I take Varca's advice and get myself off to Dolcis for some sticky foot gel pads. The things you learn through swinging!
