Thanks to everyone for their kind and helpful advices, it's really appreciated.
We've searched through all the ads and found some really gorgeous couples and singles of a similar age to ourselves, we're still a bit shy about contacting them though. The social events sound like a great idea, think we'll give that a go before we start arranging to meet people or attend any clubs/parties.
Oh, sorry we forgot to mention, we live in the North West (not together just yet, we're getting our first place in the summer)

Firstly, sorry if we're covering old ground with this thread, I've tried searching but can't seem to find anything that covers our questions. So our apologies if this is the hunderth time you've read the same thing
We are a young couple (male 21, female 18) who have been together for over 4 years, and as well as being a very happy couple we are best friends, and have a great time together. Over the last year or so we have been discussing swinging, orgies and threesomes, and we have decided that it's something we'd both definatley like to try3 (as well as something we're both comfortable with)
So really we have two questions:
Firstly, is our age going to prove difficult to find people/invites? Looking through the ads it appears the majority of couple are aged between 25-45, and are looking for people of similar ages to themselves. We are really hoping that there are some similar couples to ourselves out there (young, sexy and in very trusting relationships), as well as some older sexy couples who would not be put off by our age. We worry that some people may be hesitant in inviting us to parties or meeting us as they thing we may be socially immature (get drunk, cry, pick a fight, be sick etc), which we are not. So really our first question is; Is our age going to be a hinderance in our search for hedonism, and are there other couples/people of a similar age to ourselves who are into swinging, orgies etc
Secondly, although we are a fun, friendly couple, we are both a little shy around strangers and we are both quite nervous about in which environment to have our first experience. We are not sure if our disposition would be best suited to going to a larger party (the Fever parties website sounds really like the kind of thing were looking for) or a private meet (we have already seen some ads for people on here who we think are gorgeous). We worry that going to a large party might be a bit overhwhelming and full on for our first experience, however we feel that similarly having a private meet with someone could prove awkward if they were not willing to move at a pace we were comfortable with. So really what we wanted to know was a) Is it unknown of for a couple to come to a large party and not join in with the 'full works' straight away, and maybe not even do anything the first time? b) Are there couples and singles out there who are happy to treat a meeting a social get together with the possibility of something happening (i.e meeting for a drink, getting to know each other and if all parties are comfy moving it further, but if not just enjoying the night out and the company)
Sorry for the longwinded message, it's just we wanted to ask the advice of people a bit more experienced with the scene before we throw ourselves in the deep end (and potentially cause a situation that we, or someone else, might not be comfy with)
