Ah, the venom of the Labour supporter, always afraid of facts and always quick to blame Maggie. Please explain this then Delron:

If the european parliment can tell our goverment what to do, what is the point of a british goverment......................

I thought it was the ECHR judges who had deemed our own government's position to be in breach of European Law? Happy to stand corrected but it was nothing to do with the EU itself.
The rather worrying factor is the experience and background of some of these "judges"
What a great afternoon of rugby for the neutral observer. Ireland squandered so many chances and I really feel for Italy who will win one of their fixtures based todays. As for the other game I thought the Sweaties were in for an absolute tonking after conceding a try in the first couple of minutes but recovered well and played their part in a highly entertaining game.
Roll on the next round
Wondered the same thing myself GnV. Maybe they were trying to put the frighteners on other English players moving abroad?
All I can say for JW is I am always glad to see him in a white shirt. He's back to his best after such rotten bad luck with injuries after the 2003 WC and if you were the opposition and saw him coming on you would know he's not going to be the weak link in either England's defence or attack.
Emile Ntamck was never the same again after this tackle by JW
It's going to be an interesting 6N GnV with the world cup around the corner and a lot of players out to prove themselves in the eyes of the selectors. So a great start by England with some big performances by key players who rose to the challenge.
France v Scotland..... It's a shame both teams can't lose!

So for those who support the legal case against the couple with the B&B, I trust they would support similar legal action and criminal convictions against the owners of these following hotels who openly state on their websites they are Gay Only?

There are 100s of these advertised on the internet. I just picked on the first few links Google threw up.
The more I think about this B&B case the more I believe it was a Stonewall setup. Look at the B&B's website and they clearly state on their booking form what guests they want Is this any different to "gay only" requirements for the other hotels?
What these minority groups have to accept is that if they want equality then they have to reciprocate it unless they really believe some are less equal than others (which seems to be the case, as defined by our ridiculous laws).

Are hotels who do not allow dogs discriminating against those of us who own them??are hotels who do allow dogs discriminating against those of us who have asthma ?? what about me I am an asthmatic dog owner ???
If the question is do I think the above hotels are discriminating against the straight section of society, then yes they they be ? no probably they be allowed to ? yes
Should the christian owned hotel be allowed to ban homosexuals ? no
I know it's a terrible double standard isn't it...but as I said earlier minorities in our community HAVE to guard their right jealously no-one else will do it for them.So if by operating a discriminatory policy in certain places they allow themselves a haven from the day to day bigotry they experience then good for them...also
1..much as I like the gays there is no way on earth I would ever want to spend my holiday surrounded by them exclusively.
2..I have no doubt there are many alternative hotels in the relevant areas for non gay patrons...I doubt there are that many alternatives for gay patrons who wish to relax without the nods winks and whispers they no doubt attract in most hotels....we are you see, on the whole still a narrow minded prurient society, who like nothing more than a bit of gossip.
With all due respect, that's not true. Laws have been amended or introduced to bend over backwards and protect minorities with positive discrimination such as in the case we see now, or the interpretation and application of law is very one-sided.
If minority groups want equal rights then the playing field has to be level.
So for those who support the legal case against the couple with the B&B, I trust they would support similar legal action and criminal convictions against the owners of these following hotels who openly state on their websites they are Gay Only?

10 out of 10 for persistence, but a big fat zero for providing any evidence.
Slow down and freeze the second plane strike and let us know whats strapped to the bottom of the plane?

I did as you requested. You do know what a wing belly fairing is and its function with regards to the main landing gear don't you?
My advice: when in a hole, stop digging.
i did look at photos of the said plane and guess what it ain't got one visible...go look yourself don't believe my word only then will it hit home.
im after the truth not an excuse or story
Thanks for admitting you don't know what a belly fairing is by saying it hasn't got one you can see. You asked me to look at the video, it has one, you asked me to look at the pictures and again its fairing is clearly visible but still you deny it. As you said, i dont believe your word. But then again what do i know about a B767? I was only type qualified on one.
Good question Brucie, and one we've asked ourselves. We are in this together and it's only natural to have pix of both, if a prospective meet were unable to provide a pic of the man then to us they (he?) are hiding something which means no meet.
The self-description of build makes us smile too. And on that topic, what the hell does "rugby build"mean? Are we talking fat prop or svelte scrum-half? We reckon it's the former wink

It was because people like him had the guts to go out onto the streets and protest that we now have free education for all, free health for all, equal rights for women etc etc and if we don't continue fighting then piecemeal they will be taken away from us.
"

Free education? Where does the money come from to fund the eduction budget?
Free health? Where does the money come from to fund the NHS budget?
If you think those are free then you need to look at where your council tax, NI and general taxation are going.
There's no such thing as "free".
Nice pictures but not really relevant to the debate even if the structural design of the load-bearing elements was identical to that of the WTC as that hotel didn't suffer a catastrophic failure of a significant part of its load-bearing structure due to the amount of energy imparted following the impact of over 125,000kg of B767 flying at 400kts. It also didn't suffer the pan-caking of one floor onto another. It's time a lot of these non-believers/conspiracy theorists got themselves clued-up on the difference between static loads and dynamic loads to understand why the collapses occurred.
I'm leaving this thread now.

Is it wrong to sill harbour sexual fantasies about the woman off the shake and vac advert so many years later?

Yes!

And if that doesn't cool your ardour then this is what Jenny Logan is doing today.....
Is it me or have petrol prices been creeping up over the last few weeks in advance of the VAT rise? Of course the oil companies wouldn't try and sneak an increase in under the guise of a tax hike would they?
Remember this from a few months back? Wild claims thrown about but not a shred of evidence provided by way of substantiation and no answers given to the very valid questions.

It's classic conspiracy theory modus operandi - throw wild claims about and then retreat. I am not sure what that person wanted to achieve, if looking for a reaction then they certainly hit the bullseye.
Being old and cynical (Victor's my hero) I always challenge any theorist to show me the evidence that backs up their claim and then come back for a rational debate. Strangely, they never do, either unable or unwilling. The same works for religious cultists who have the temerity to knock on our door trying to spread their brainwashing nonsense.
The longer the students riot, the lower the public support. Students, by their antics, are held in pretty low esteem at the best of times and if they believe their cause will be helped by violence, public disorder and peeing against a statue of Sir Winston Churchill then they are being badly lead/advised.
So students won't vote Tory, wouldn't vote Lib Dem again so that only leaves Labour. Ah, but it was them who introduced fees in the first place wasn't it, a convenient truth forgotten by so many of these little thugs and supporters of their riotous actions. Strange how Red Ed has kept a very low profile during all of this, not a whimper.
Looking at the voting statistics, it turns out the majority of the little darlings didn't bother to turn out to vote in the election anyway.

Their cause is lost by their actions and their inactivity.
It turns out the Cenotaph flag swinger was Charlie Gilmour, who is the step-son of Pink Floyd guitarist David. Dad's worth £78 million so I doubt sunshine will be left with much of a debt.
His pathetic excuse that he didn't realise it was the Cenotaph or what it symbolised is typical of the champagne socialist yob.
I trust he will be charged under the Criminal Damages Act which carries a prison sentence if found guilty and also Cambridge Uni will now be booting him out?
What did his dad's band sing? "You don't get no ed-u-cay-shun"
Totally disgraceful and shameful behaviour by these young thugs. I doubt they even have the intelligence to understand how they are alienating themselves from those who actually fund them and if they are this thick maybe it's better they don't go to Uni in the first place.
Yet again I ask, where were this rabble when Labour did a u-turn on an election policy and introduced the top-up fees legislation in the first place? Barely a whimper which reveals this is nothing more than left wing rent-a-mob activity.
Shame about Broad as I think we will miss him with the new ball in the next test.
Kaznkev, I think Aussie cricket is on the precipice and about to go over it once the Ashes and the World Cup are finished. I can't see Ponting lasting beyond February and Katich's injury could be the end of him. Hussey is getting on too and just like they have had many attempts at rebuilding their bowling attack they will have to do the same with the top order.
I don't want to count the English chickens yet but see no reason why we can't carry on in this same rich vein and leave Oz with the urn in the proverbial bag leaving the crims to face the cricketing wilderness for several years.
Great isn't it! lol

Receiving phones calls (on a daily basis) that are recorded messages. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I find it absolutely, infuriatingly RUDE!. How dare a company decide not even to bother to call me perosnally to try to sell their crappy product - but just send me a recording? Am I really that insignificant to them? Do they have to so little regard for me that their time, again trying to sell me something I haven't asked for, is worth so much but mine is worth so little?
I am polite enough not to rely on my answer machine to filter spam calls, and answer the phone if I can, on the assumption that it is as likely to be someone in my family calling. So not only have I had a stranger treat me like a valueless 'mark' but I have got off my own comfy sofa to receive such an insult.
I have no idea what they are selling, since the moment I recognise the recorded sound I put the phone down - but that isn't the point. These calls should be outlawed.
banghead

Register for the TPS and MPS and put an end to (almost) all cold calls and junk mail.
It's free, it works and it's lawfully enforceable.

people who whilst looking at the shelves in the supermarket...leave their trolley sideways, and block the isle.....mad

Just push it out of your way, I do.
After placing in their poorly parked and unattended trolley a butternut squash, large pack of condoms and tube of KY jelly. Then follow them to the checkout wink

I always try to have scrambled egg with smoked salmon for breakfast on christmas day.

Definitely a big
Free range eggs and cream with Atlantic salmon (well it is Christmas after all)
Young men in ill-fitting suits who ring your doorbell offering their scabby product and greet you with the opening line "awwwight mate".
What a fantastic 2nd day's play with Cook in the form of his life. Not sure what's going on in Strauss's mind though as his leave was a bit of a horror.
This has to be the innings that results in a win and onwards to retain the Ashes, really turning the mental screw on the aging Aussie side who it has to be said have a bowling attack worthy of a Sunday league thirds XI.
Great isn't it lol

So far the funniest thing for me has been KP's 'tache lol
Fair enough he's growing it for charity "Movember" in support of prostate cancer, but is there really another motive? To get the Aussie bowlers to piss themselves with laughter as they come in to bowl

But then again the Aussies had Big Merv and his rather fetching facial decoration. Now that was a 'tache!
PS been desperately trying to find an Aussie in work but they've all gone to ground since the rugby the other week.
So many problems with the site at the moment it's making us question why we bother paying:
- cams that freeze (ours or people we are watching)
- profiles that don't update to show us who has viewed ours
- incorrect friends lists/online status
- shrep playing up
- chat crashing without warning
Would the site owners care to explain to those of us who pay what they are doing about it?
At least a reduction in the next year's Extras package is justified.
