Oh look over there, a dead horse that hasn't been flogged enough....
What a great afternoon of rugby for the neutral observer. Ireland squandered so many chances and I really feel for Italy who will win one of their fixtures based todays. As for the other game I thought the Sweaties were in for an absolute tonking after conceding a try in the first couple of minutes but recovered well and played their part in a highly entertaining game.
Roll on the next round
Wondered the same thing myself GnV. Maybe they were trying to put the frighteners on other English players moving abroad?
All I can say for JW is I am always glad to see him in a white shirt. He's back to his best after such rotten bad luck with injuries after the 2003 WC and if you were the opposition and saw him coming on you would know he's not going to be the weak link in either England's defence or attack.
Emile Ntamck was never the same again after this tackle by JW
It's going to be an interesting 6N GnV with the world cup around the corner and a lot of players out to prove themselves in the eyes of the selectors. So a great start by England with some big performances by key players who rose to the challenge.
France v Scotland..... It's a shame both teams can't lose!
Positive discrimination in action, allowed by the law:
So for those who support the legal case against the couple with the B&B, I trust they would support similar legal action and criminal convictions against the owners of these following hotels who openly state on their websites they are Gay Only?
There are 100s of these advertised on the internet. I just picked on the first few links Google threw up.
The more I think about this B&B case the more I believe it was a Stonewall setup. Look at the B&B's website and they clearly state on their booking form what guests they want . Is this any different to "gay only" requirements for the other hotels?
What these minority groups have to accept is that if they want equality then they have to reciprocate it unless they really believe some are less equal than others (which seems to be the case, as defined by our ridiculous laws).
We love ours, best investment ever and so much fun -especially with friends.
Nice pictures but not really relevant to the debate even if the structural design of the load-bearing elements was identical to that of the WTC as that hotel didn't suffer a catastrophic failure of a significant part of its load-bearing structure due to the amount of energy imparted following the impact of over 125,000kg of B767 flying at 400kts. It also didn't suffer the pan-caking of one floor onto another. It's time a lot of these non-believers/conspiracy theorists got themselves clued-up on the difference between static loads and dynamic loads to understand why the collapses occurred.
I'm leaving this thread now.
Is it me or have petrol prices been creeping up over the last few weeks in advance of the VAT rise? Of course the oil companies wouldn't try and sneak an increase in under the guise of a tax hike would they?
The longer the students riot, the lower the public support. Students, by their antics, are held in pretty low esteem at the best of times and if they believe their cause will be helped by violence, public disorder and peeing against a statue of Sir Winston Churchill then they are being badly lead/advised.
So students won't vote Tory, wouldn't vote Lib Dem again so that only leaves Labour. Ah, but it was them who introduced fees in the first place wasn't it, a convenient truth forgotten by so many of these little thugs and supporters of their riotous actions. Strange how Red Ed has kept a very low profile during all of this, not a whimper.
Looking at the voting statistics, it turns out the majority of the little darlings didn't bother to turn out to vote in the election anyway.
Their cause is lost by their actions and their inactivity.
It turns out the Cenotaph flag swinger was Charlie Gilmour, who is the step-son of Pink Floyd guitarist David. Dad's worth £78 million so I doubt sunshine will be left with much of a debt.
His pathetic excuse that he didn't realise it was the Cenotaph or what it symbolised is typical of the champagne socialist yob.
I trust he will be charged under the Criminal Damages Act which carries a prison sentence if found guilty and also Cambridge Uni will now be booting him out?
What did his dad's band sing? "You don't get no ed-u-cay-shun"
Totally disgraceful and shameful behaviour by these young thugs. I doubt they even have the intelligence to understand how they are alienating themselves from those who actually fund them and if they are this thick maybe it's better they don't go to Uni in the first place.
Yet again I ask, where were this rabble when Labour did a u-turn on an election policy and introduced the top-up fees legislation in the first place? Barely a whimper which reveals this is nothing more than left wing rent-a-mob activity.
Young men in ill-fitting suits who ring your doorbell offering their scabby product and greet you with the opening line "awwwight mate".
So many problems with the site at the moment it's making us question why we bother paying:
- cams that freeze (ours or people we are watching)
- profiles that don't update to show us who has viewed ours
- incorrect friends lists/online status
- shrep playing up
- chat crashing without warning
Would the site owners care to explain to those of us who pay what they are doing about it?
At least a reduction in the next year's Extras package is justified.
