Every year we spend 5 weeks in a wild wild nudist campsite near Avignon, TGV, or Nimes to fly. It is full of couples and single men and just the odd single female from time to time.
In this modern era of female liberation it would be nice to see more single women frequenting the sexy sites which exist in France. There still are unfortunately people out there who do not have respect for the individual and single women can still have problems overcoming unwanted attentions. We are somewhat of a celebrity couple due to the many years we have been going there and it is a bit like a sexy little village where we know many of the people who visit, like us, every year. See you've been on the site from the early days when it was much easier and friendly, frequented by the hardcore of people who had been dogging and swinging for years before the internet killed the scene. All the hot places now closed by the councils or turned into cafe parks. Now the websites are filled with the 100 Shades of Amateurs. The people on here today seem to be all about thinking about it but bottling it. It's like the single man who when when confronted by a liberated hot for it woman, shrivels up like a frozen shrimp more often than not.
They don't even have the courtesy or honesty to say thanks but no thanks, or not really our taste.

The best beach along the whole coastline is L'Espiquette
It is just to the west of Marseille and well worth the diversion, you could go there on the way to Marseille. A bit of a walk to the hot area, starts just after the first stone breakwater. Couples usually gather just after the third one. If you go up into the dunes/bushes you will find no lack of willing participants.
