Hi people,
Just an update for you.
Wednesday was a migriane/headache free day for me thank goodness!!
Woke at 4am this morning with a full blown attack, got up and took two ibruprofen tabs, By 6am was starting to ease and woke my partner as it was time for him to get up for work and I crawled back into bed and dozed till 8am when my head was banging again.
Got up and took two more ibruprofen tabs. By 9am no change and took Imigran recovery.
By 9:30 there was still no change, so dragged some clothes on and went to the Drs, still in my sliipers, fortunatley the Drs is only a few doors down from my house. Saw the receptionist and asked if I could have an appointment, and she siad "My god you look awful do you want to see someone now?"
After about two mins I was called into see the Dr, sat down and just sobbed and sobbed and tried to explain between the tears and the snotty nose just how bad I was.
She has now given me some stronger painkillers, advised me to stop taking the Ibruprofen and given me some Propananlol, which should help stop the migraines occuring in the first place. Have to go back if there is no change. Went to the chemist and handed over the prescription & sat down, before I collapsed.
5 mins later I was given the tabs and was aked if I was alright as I looked so ill. Said I was just having a migraine attack and she said that she would call me a taxi to get home, for which I thanked her for, but declined as I only live 2 mins walk away anyway.
So I've taken the painkillers and the propanonlol and FINALLY after seven hours things are starting to ease (it's now 11:15), still feel dizzy and queasy, but least the migraine seems to be easing. Actually typing this out seems to help as it gives me something to concentrate on other than my head.
Hopefully should be better by this afternoon as I am supposed to be going to a wedding recption!!!!!!!!!!!
Ho hum!!
Cheers everyone.

Hi guys & gals
We had our wedding back in December last year. Parents were obviously invited from both sides. Now we live near Cardiff and my parents would be travelling from Aylesbury for the ceremony.
About 3 weeks earlier my Mother had been involved in a car accident on the M25, which she was extremly lucky to walk away from, with no damage other than written off car (after spinning round and round turning over a few times on the fast lane) and shock.
As you can imagine Mother had not been anywhere near a car since the accident, so although she was invited to the ceremony, we really didn't expect her to turn up under the circumstances.
We got a text message about 11am to say that they were just crossing the Severn Bridge on the M4, so we knew she would be arriving at ours approx an hour later. The ceremony was to be held at 2pm. We left home at 1:30, still no sign of Mother. Got to the Registry Office a bundle of nerves, after going through the final paperwork etc, I explained the situation to the registrar and she was great, saying that there was no-one booked in after us and we could wait all day if need be.
So there I was, as nervous as ever, feeling ill, wondering why it was nearly 3 hours since I'd heard from them, knowing that the last part of the journey would have only taken an hour. I told the registrar that I was going outside for a ciggie and as I walked out there was Mum & Dad, all smiles.
I ran to them and hugged and sobbed and sobbed like I have never done before. I had been so ill and worried about them, then had such elation that they had managed the journey.
Apparently they had gone straight to the registry office, arrived at 1pm, realised that they were early and gone down the pub for a drink!!
My poor Dad was deaf in one ear because of all the screaming my Mum had done during the journey, but as she said, " I wasn't going to miss my boys wedding day"
Ahhhhhh

Hi, this was posted on another website warning about Wisley, posted there on 30th Sept 2006.
I have just copied/pasted here for your info.

This is a serious WARNING to anyone thinking of visiting Wisley (the 1st and 2nd car parks off Old Lane, A3 south). There has been a spate of serious trouble this year, and there are now visits from groups of yobs in convoys of cars, typically 3 vehicles at once, but there they can arrive in a group of as many as 8.
On Wednesday 20th 2006 at 20:30pm a total gang of 7 or 8 yobs, split across 3 connected vehicles, descended on the 1st car park Wisley. There was a green car completely full with yobbos ******, doing deliberate wheel spins all around the car park also deliberately dazzling cruisers by flashing lights and putting main beam on for the time that a car passed them. This was done to every car that passed the line of the vehicles. This car was with 2 other vehicles: ******* a black car with 2 or 3 yobs in and a small White van.
On Thursday 21st September 2006, a blue car ***** was causing trouble along with a white van. Then at 23:13 on Sunday 24th September 2006, there was a convoy of 5 cars. ***** a small blue car, ***** small car, ***** a blue car, ****** a small silver car, and a Red car. These yobs will try your door handle too.
Then at 23:51pm on Wednesday 27th Sept 2006, there was another visit from 2 cars in convoy: ***** the same blue car seen before on Sunday 24th Sept. 2006, along with a silver car ******.
At 12:25am on Thursday 28th September another vehicle arrived: a slate-blue car with a deep rumbling engine *******. This car had a slightly elongated (SAAB-style) shape, but was not an Estate. There were at least 4 occupants in the vehicle. The occupants in the rear appeared to be crouching or hiding to avoid notice. The usual flashing of their main beam, and deliberately intimidating cruisers. At one point, a single man had to run back from the other side of the car park as the gang tried to cut him off from getting to his car using their vehicle.
There was also trouble last night, Friday night (29th Sept 06) and up to 3:10 am on Sat morning with a group of 5 cars (one of them was a silver van). These cars covered their car registration plates with black tape, and proceeded to go wild with crazy wheel spins, and homophobic abuse. They will come right up to your car and try your door handle. Police were called by several people, but they never came out. EVERYONE, PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. -- LOCK YOUR DOORS.
This posting has been edited to remove vehicle details which we cannot confirm as accurate - a full copy has been retained.
Whilst noting that the Police were contacted follow-up to the Gay Liason Officer at Surrey Police Headquarters should be considered and/or Crime Stoppers. (Moderator)

Oh dear, you'll all love this one!!!
Many moons ago when I was a teenager and still living at home, I was helping my Mum clear some stuff out from the cellar. As I carried some boxes into the kitchen I felt something on my ear. I put the boxes down and brushed away what I thought was mabye a spiders web or dust.
Wrong!!.........It was a spider!!.
But with my brushing of my hand had actually sent it creeping into my ear. At this point I'm screaming like I don't know what, bent over, shaking my head with the loudest, most deafening noise going on in my head which no-one else could hear. (Imagine Rice Crispies when you first pour the milk on............but LOUDER!!!)
Mum comes running in and there's me screaming, "I've got a f*****g spider in my ear", bent over and shaking my head and by this time sobbing!!
Mum had a look but couldn't see anything, so she's on the phone to the Dr's. They said to get some cooking oil on a spoon and warm it in the steam of the kettle, pour the hot oil into my ear.
*Just HOW LONG does a kettle take to boil when you have a demented sider in you ear, ffs!!!!*
The idea being that the heat would kill the spider, and because it was oil, it would float to the top and could be removed no problem, job done........!!
So there's me bent over the sink and Mum pouring this HOT oil into my ear...............then..................*SILENCE*......................*NOTHING*...................*NO SPIDER*.................
Great so now I have a DEAD DROWNED spider TRAPPED in my ear!!!
On the phone again to the Drs and they said to drive up to see them straight away.
In the car we get, Mother driving like a lunatic to get to the Drs, which seemed like miles away, and me sitting in the car sobbing, with this dead creature and hot oil stuck in my ear.
Eventually arrives at the Drs and goes straight into see the nurse, who had to syringe my ear twice to get this thing out.
Trust me it was HUGE. and not the best experience I've had, never really liked spiders before then, but now I am petrified of them.
Fortunatley, the bf is very understanding and gets rid of any that dare come into the house.
*shudder*
