I thought on my Chat2 observation I might have got a reply either way ( even if it was your right but we aren't fixing it as the new Chatroom is almost here etc etc....)

I can confirm that poor Elliot got himself out of his sick bed (read ate dodgy kebab here) to kick te servers in to touch tonight, so definately no slacking on this bit :thumbup:

Looking on the positive side , the new chatroom was arriving 3 months ago ?

Any news ? . I was abit worried a few weeks ago when we were asked what we wanted to see in it ( given that it is presumably almost finished and IT programmers never like last minute changes ?).

We have been waiting and waiting for the new update but the designers keep tweeking it :shock: It's to make sure that it's spot on though biggrin

i have updated my flash player, i have run a full service on my laptop....so its running pefect.........but yet i still cant get in chat.........there must be something s/h can do to solve this problem............and yeah i know......its been said before.......but when you pay for a service you should expect it to work............or is that to much to ask confused

Well, if it's any consolation guys, Microsoft themselves admit to 10% of their code being buggy. In XP with millions of lines of code, that accounts for about a million buggy lines!!
As developers ourselves, there are two things we could admit to:-
1. That there will be bugs in the code (no matter how much you pay me to write it) and
2. the program will never be finished (always something else to be put in).
The only difference between a good developer and a bad one is that the good one eventually fixes the bugs.
I could be really controversial and remind you of the old chatroom....

It does it to me all the time, some days it lets me in, others it doesnt! Its a pain. Theres worse things in life though, maybe its telling you to go take a dip in the forum or perv the photo ads for a while lol

I decided a while ago its not the PC causing the problem... or the flash or the anything else. When a friend is here he can often log straight in on his account.... yet mine wont let me at all, same machine. He logs out yet I cant log in! he can usually log straight back in tho. This works both ways, sometimes I can log straight in on my account yet we cant on his. Occassionally we can both log in lol.
Maybe the server has PMT hehehe or perhaps it depends on whether it likes men or women that day... Who knows, seems that no one actually has the answer but I'm sure that multiple people are working on it if only to stop having to read threads like this redface
