CANT GET INTO CHAT ROOMS - AOL user?

aol users will have to use the aol software to get into sh, you will not be able to use I E to log on,
we have spent ages trying to log in with IE.
we now find out that aol has changed the way it will
allow you to use the net. you also will not get to sites like "youtube" without using aol software.
if anyone knows of any of the people on here that use aol and you can contact them please

I have just been informed altho I don't know how reliable it is that AOHell has changed the way it allows its users to access the net and if an AOL user you won't be able to access this site or even youtube unless you use the software provided by AOL it seems.
There might not be much Admin can do if that is the case. Hopefully it isn't the case tho

AOL have just put an automated message on their help line stating they have problems with some web sites etc ONLY TOOK THEM 48hrs to admit they have a fault

youtube will work within the aol software. i have a laptop with aol on it that is the one i am using at the moment my other comp has no aol software it works through a router and i only use IE for the net. that is the problem the main comp will not work with youtube or SH

I havent had a problem, tried everything you say AOL wont allow and Im here, logged in with IE. Also no prob with chat or you tube
You do know computers now run on leccy and not gas? Just a thought

I've got a similar problem: can't access SH via firefox or safari (mac) but no problem via the AOL browser, this just started happening yesterday for no apparent reason. Its the same on mrs g's pc, any ideas? chatroom doesn't work with the aol browser on either mac or pc.

Yet another update....
12:01 Sunday After an evening of watching England beat the French at Rugby and the Reds beat a pitiful Newcastle side I picked up the rucksac and set off to seek enlightenment.
02:00 Having been twice round the M25 I eventually started to make progress
04:00 After a long and ardous journey I arrived at the foothills of the Hymalayas and was met by our guide sherpa 'BigballsDave'
0415 Following 15 minutes of flirtatous banter, known locally as foreplay we set off to climb the largest peak in the world.
0430 Conversation as we climbed was sparse as everyone was having trouble breathing in short pants but; Personally I was wearing a sort of khaki pair of Chinis and had no trouble breathing; we did find out that the famous Mount Everest was actually an instruction rather than a naturally occuring erection.
04:40 Things are becoming a struggle now, reminds me of mounting mrs bbw's twin peaks which also incidently come complete with crampons, compass and a map with a 'X' on it.
06:00 The mood in the group has sharply risen, it may have something to do with the fact that we are nearing the top where we will meet the Tibeten Monks who will hopefully bring some sense of purpose to our miserable existances now we are without the SH chatrooms.
06:30 The top!!!! Amazing but whats that ? Arhhhhhh!!!!!
07:00 Sorry, we lost communications, bit like where we still are with ths chatrooms. I'm afraid I have to tell you there are no Tibeten Monks at teh top of teh highest peak in the world. No serenely calm men with what was rumoured to have collectively the largest penises in the world! We were greated by a lively throng of.........
AOL Call Centre Staff !!!!!!! These people never even noticed us come (And how does that make you feel!); they just pitifully continued to ring unsuspecting AOL customers and offer them what could only be described as the opportunity of a lifetime! (If you are into sado-masocism that is!)
On top of this we discovered, in Attenborough like voices and mannerisms that....
Half of them were chatting away quite happily in SH chatrooms, calling themselves 'Young well-hung bi stud from Brighton, seeking men, women, both; can travel, can accomodate and stays for ever!

Cilla on the other hand was last seen running through the snow, naked and clearly in a state of excitement, chased by 'bigballsdave' and 14 other bald-headed religous monks who shall we say were 'swinging the lead'.
As I close this latest entry I reach for my medication and hope that today at least I won't get strapped in and given the electric- shock treatment!

When we try to enter a chatroom via AOL it just goes grey. Cannot even get into SH site via internet explorer!

Personally, I look like s**t, but no change there then!
I am typing this under the table as I think they are coming to get me to lock me up in some home for people with disturbed minds.
