It's happening to all of us, and it's been going on for months now. It seems to be getting worse, don't know why.
I think the powers that be know about it but it seems to be a particularly difficult problem to solve. It's making the chatrooms virtually impossible to use, and has ruined one of the best, if no the best, feature on this or any other site.
Such a shame, because it used to work perfectly before.

I've not done this recently but I know there have been problems. In fact all the problems seem to be chatroom related. The chatroom seems to be falling apart and I kinda think this all started with the multi cam design. For whatever reason the chatroom stared to unravel and has continued to do so.

happens here too,, i get chance to say hi,, then the room appears to stop...
and then get the "disconnected message"..
I have tried 2 machines, one vista, one XP, tried both IE8 and firefox... and tried with and without my firewalls.. same problem,,
However,, about 10% of the time I dont get a problem,
