We had both made accounts independently to one another in the past, both getting as far as the 'having to give a credit card number' section in the sign up form.
On realising the site charges for any features that actually would allow one to make contact with other people, we both dismissed the site as a potential scam and did not proceed any further in the sign up process at that time.
We then completely forgot the site existed.
The free chat room access mail shot made us look again.
We liked what we saw, liked some of the people we spoke with, and decided to pay for a rolling subscription.
As long term IRC users, we are surprised by the lack of common civility shown by a tiny minority of other users.
It seems to us that some users cannot distinguish between watching a cam in a chat room and watching a video clip on RedTube or YouJizz.
There is an old chat room/ IRC phrase: 'Please don't feed the trolls'.
These people are often inept, socially challenged individuals with severe delusions of adequacy, who try to reinforce their low self esteem in attempting to denigrate or insult other channel users.
Such people hide behind the anonymity of the internet because they know that they couldn't possibly speak or behave in the way they do without the filter of server and monitor saving them from an abrupt knuckle/ nose interface scenario.
By responding to them, or even acknowledging their existence, you are encouraging them to think their fathers actually intended to inseminate their mothers.
So don't.
Ignore them, they crawl back to watching artificially enhanced American 'actresses' being paid to enact all their pathetic little male-egocentric fantasies soon enough.
The vast majority of users are here to have some good fun and to use the site as a gateway to other things.
Don't let these cretins annoy you or spoil your enjoyment.

Sage words indeed there S&J.
