Whilst I take onboard what Peanut said about sites having differences, I use a number of chatrooms on different sites (some adult-related and some not) with a similar number of users and broadly comparable facilities.
This is the only one I have persistent and regular problems with, and there are always patches and tweaks being applied to fix the last problem. If we're comparing "apples and pears" perhaps this should move to being a "pear" instead of the "apple" with the damaged core that it seems to have become.
St3v3 said they'd done testing elsewhere on sites that aren't as busy as this. Testing should be done on a clone of this site. There are plenty of load testing tools available on the market to simulate user access.
It seems like eons ago since a new improved chatroom was mentioned. I'd just like this one to work properly without any glitches for a few months.

i hate this new server, its driving me mad, cant have a conversation with anyone in the chat room as it takes 30 seconds for the text to appear and then I keep getting kicked out.

have to add to the general complaint about speed, soooooo slow, just about impossible to have a good chat.
also don't like the big room list, harder to find your room.
As for putting the room you join at the top of the list - what purpose does that hold??
hope you get the speed issues sorted soon, cos SH had the best chat rooms by a country mile - it ain't so at the moment

typing a sentance took a while to hit screen. On the positive side, I didnt have to wait 5 mins to get back in chat

I have a poor old pc and its got no guts, I never ever used to go in a room with 50+ folk in as it bolloxed it.
I just went in a room typed one line and it took nearly a minute to come up, I expected that after an hour before not in ten seconds. Everyone thinks I am ignoring them. I can't chat anyone up.
I'm very sad but should get to bed two hours earlier

Can understand the paying members being well miffed.

It must be 'site' farting about midweek as there seem to be less problems at the weekend. After the last big fart about with the servers it seemed to get better - a lot - until a couple of weeks ago. Is someone somewhere bored?
Must admit to prefering the multiple servers but as long as chat is going to run effective;y i dont really mind too much other than wondering why there are more bi rooms than any other - does bi room mean only two allowed in it ?

It has booted me out the same amount of times too!
The chat is soooooo slow am playing patiences to while waiting.
As a paid memeber do feel a little at the moment am not getting a good services, understand that you are trying to improve things, but I never had these problems with the old servers. Might be the people that did, that need to look at their pc and not this site as the cause.

I am a paying member with an account for each one of us. We use chat regular since re joining so i pay for 2 accounts to have the chat kicking me out and cams not working ! Damn i pay for this perving on the cams no good trying to wank over a jerky or frozen cam. LOL
I must say something has to be done about this as i am fed up paying good money a month just to chat in the chatrooms and being pissed off by most of the idiots that are on here! now if i am not able to chat in the chat room whats the point in paying? may i have a full refund ?

when the number of users are quite low the new server seems to cope , but anything approaching even moderate capacity and things start going wrong. Users are disconected and many with average but ok PCs are getting real had chat problems myself an my system is top off the range.
People come on here to chat and watch cams , its all they want and slow response times and freezing cams does nothing for this.
As I said before progress is good but test it well first , maybee set up a test site with a special password so you can limit user numbers.
Anyway hope its all OK for the weekend

Of course! It's a dynamic list, always has been, but it's still great and better than it was before.

Again we are another couple with 2 paying accounts. Last night the Northeast Room was nowhere near full (about 30-40 ppl) and i was disconnected about 5 times in an hour. The lag on the chat was at up to 3 mins long.

It holds a very useful purpose for the way I use the chatroom - I regularly visit multiple rooms and it makes life easier being able to start scrolling from the last chatroom you visited rather than starting from the top each time - I like it as an interim measure to help navigation. :thumbup:

patience is one thing tolerence is another . chat freezes constantly being booted bigger rooms been hearing it for ages but were having more disconnections now then we were 2 years ago .i,m all for progress but to be honest and i think a lot will agree there isnt any . and 1 disadvantage to having 1 room with 4 rooms 1 crashes you got 3 others to fall back on thus losing 25 percent of members this 1 big room crashes you lose everyone thus meaning 1 site full of unhappy members as they are now. only my opinion i,m sure someone in admin will counteract it with a good answer

well i must say i am not happy one min u can open a room now u cant open rooms well u can but u cannot get into them im all for backing sh yup to inprove things but thwy need to keep 4 room running do the test room then get people to go in there to see how much it can stand its gettin to the stage ur off line more then ur on line u start a chat ur booted half way throu it so ppl are just sitting there waiting for the next boot to take place i think you should stay with the 4 rooms at least you do nor lose to many member s if that server gets problems also u got somewhere else to put ur members not just leaving them to go off to find other swinging sites

The changes that were made were in the best of intentions to improve the chat room. It hasn't gone to plan which we have to hold our hands up to and apologise for.
We will be rolling back to the four server system by the end of the working day. Regrettably, this does mean the return of the need to logout before exiting the chat room and if you are disconnected, you'll need to wait five minutes.
