Thats never been in the rules and I very much doubt that it ever will, which brings the mask one into question, it was considered to be a good rule for all the right reasons when it was made and needs further discussion at our end, so at the moment the no face rule has been clarified and the mask one hasn't.
An answer will be forthcoming, after its been debated in the Ops lounge.
I suppose its quite difficult making rules about this kind of thing. I can understand to some extent the one about masks but whats to say one of the guys playing alone on cam with just his bits out, isnt an underage teenager logged in on parents/Dads account without the knowledege of parents?
If ever any chatroom op or member of the admin team has any reason to believe that any member is under 18 their account is deactivated until we have proof otherwise. Everything we can do is done, pretty much like everywhere else.
I think we have moved subjects here, but as you bring it up I'll pitch in.
To understand any situation you have to put yourself in the other parties position and try to understand what the other party is going through and has to deal with, have tolerance when needed and none when needed.
Shit happens, rooms get left unhosted and they need to be closed, the long awaited new version will take care of that, if a rooms really popular and the host needs to leave, how long does it take to let everyone else know, get a volunteer to take over and for everyone to move, surely with the current version that's the best way to do it rather than having a rant at the chatroom op thats probably had numerous people try to draw them into arguments all night, hence the reason for the rules, they have to make the decisions to keep things in order, if you ever saw the support tickets and chatroom logs you would have some understanding of how difficult it can be.
"Them and us" goes both ways, your an upstanding member Flower, and you make some good points, the place would be a better place if those that are well intentioned all pulled the same way.
Flower - I think you are talking for yourself here and not for the vast majority of the Chatroom users!
You're a good man Flower.. I respect your views
Hi,
we never show our faces on cam in any public rooms....not because we are ashamed or underage but because if certain people found out what we do in our private lives then it could ruin ours and others lives. We are not the only people with these reasons....many people don't show them because of their jobs or families etc. We love going on cam and are quite prepared to show our faces to those we meet before hand or in a private room where we can restrict who is watching....is this wrong? There is no problem with hiding our faces in the pics we submit so why should it be a problem on the cams?
