Recently whenever I click on my webcam while on sh it closes down the site which is damn annoying as I have to wait 5 minutes to get back in. I have a Mac OS X/Safari but the cam works elsewhere.
I know it works on sh as it has done before.. is there any reason? I have fiddled my settings etc but no joy!

Have you tried using the Firefox browser on your Mac? We use it as the default and have no problems using our iSight either with iChat, Messenger or in an SH chat room. It works with our iMac, G4 and Mac Mini.
When you say "fiddled with the settings", could you explain a bit more please. Does the cam work with iChat?

Yeah I know but you can't buy the iSight anymore, and it was more expensive than the budget cams. It was superior in quality though.
:lol: :lol: Thank you for the advice! Actually got it to work today on sh for several hours but this evening sh is crashing again when i try to cam... is it because it's busier?
No I have no problem using the cam elsewhere, it's not an iSight though a budget one but a good picture.

Tried Firefox and worked much better with sh (doesn't crash!) however it's conflicting with Safari I think but with some experimenting I will hopefully resolve the issues! Flash player and quicktime etc will only work on Firefox now not Safari but probably a preferences thing!
