Why when theres a room 4 cpls only it is full with single men?
Why when it says no whispers/directing, they do?
Why dont they read profiles?
Grrrrrrrrrr!
Our membership is due this week, we are not going to bother.
We are not just here for single males.
We joined for fun, and have met some nice people.
One of whom was a single male.
Plz Plz Plz 4 the benerfit of other cpls/single ladys.

dont let the few put you off completly ..... try to ignore the whispers or report the constant offenders to the room host or an op try going to some socials etc where i find that the single males that do go are well behaved on the whole and you get to meet plenty of couples as well
i hope you decide to stay as the genuine couples are more and more difficult to find........ but whatever you do have fun and stay safe xxxxx

TOTALLY agree
we usually put on a show in the evenings and the biggest pain is people who do not read our profile and ask for crude or downright rude things which we clearly state will not be happening grrrr
Its hard enough to put on a show, type answers to decent people without having to continually moan at the predominatly single males who spoil it for all the other decent people

If one of us guys are on we will deal with any trouble makers of whatever sort.
We get it as well even when we have a gold star next to our name.
There are more nice people on here I've found than there are tossers tho .
Hope you stay cos as Sara said we need nice couples to make the tossers bearable rolleyes

Too true Woo.
I think admin should put at the top of the room NO whispers. Along side the no web addresses thingy. Could that be done? As a lot of people do not realise they should not whisper without asking. Btw we hate whispers without people asking. We either ignore them or if they do it again we say in the room are they shy? Then they whipser no. lol

Granted there are a few who whisper because they haven't had the sense to read and understand the chatroom rules. Most whisperers however are persistent offenders who just don't give a toss, so I doubt that having it shown when they join a room would help. Even when no whispering is in the room title, which should not be necessary as the no whispering rule applies to all rooms, the ignorant morons still do it.
Until there is a firm policy of three strikes and you are out, or something similar, then those who spoil things for the majority will continue to do so. It's not that it'd be difficult to stop, just that there seems to be a lack of interest in doing so.

I agree with most of what you've said, particularly about reading profiles before making contact, and people who whisper/direct even when it says that you shouldn't, before asking, are selfish and make it difficult for everyone else (?)
However these things are never straightforward. I have been in rooms where the whispering/directing rule formed part of the title of the room, and yet people were clearly whispering, and sometimes the cammers were explicitly encouraging people to "direct". How confusing is that?
Also until there are rooms that somehow say "single guys welcomed" or words to that affect, where are single guys meant to go? The gay or bi rooms? It might not be appropriate.
Also, although I've seen some guys making a nuisance of themselves, it isn't just guys. I have been whispered to, by women, in rooms that have clearly stated that whispering was not allowed (?)
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying there isn't a problem, all I'm saying is that whatever the solution it should be clearly targeted.

normaly when a room ststes that its no whispering this is only following constant uninvited whispers from a previously unhosted room and in my opinion it does not mean 'no whispering' it means follow the rules in that aup and ask to whisper and get a posative responce first. yes whispering does go n and to be perfectly honest you dont mind the infrequent or accidental whispers or from people you know, its the uninvited and harrassing whispers that happen.

If the room name says "no whispering" it gives us the option to stop people when they get out of hand.
There are some people who just whisper filth at us when we are on cam and this is not acceptable, so we keep our options open.
As for directing, that is a 100% no no for us but we do know that some people encourage it, but again, if the room title says "no directing" it gives people the option to stop it I they see fit.
The biggest problem is people coming into our room and encouraging directors to tell them what to do on their own cam. To me, that is so incredibly rude that it`s almost beyond belief !!

I've been off work this week... and have spend more time in the NW room than usual rolleyes

I thought it was bad at nite for uninvited whispers and directing but this morning most certainly took over any nite time. The amount of stuff going on is untrue.. the way the ladies on cam get spoken to is disgraceful, people were posting phone numbers and trying to cause rows for no apparent reason.
I put a support ticket in to admin in the end coz the room owner wasn't there and at the time there wasn't an ops signed in. Admin came along and closed the room allowing me to open a new 1, which i always label No whispering/directing.
Do u know what makes me even madder... It's the same people constantly getting told EVERY single DAY & NIGHT for there behaivour. In fact its every time they enter the room may it be 3,4,10 times a day.
Will there ever learn dunno

I know the rule is to warn them and if they continue then you have the rights to remove them from the room but do we necessarily have to repeatedly keep telling them that 4, 5, 10 times a day. Surely they are adult enough not to be asked not to do it more than once?

For them to get a ban.. it would mean you keep on having to report them to the ops or admin... for what then... to become the site snitch?

I know you do...but what about all the behaviour even when the room is hoested?
I have in the last hr warned a certain person in the nw room 4 times.... hes continued.. so i have now booted him. The whole room has complained about him all morning.. Will it stop him.. Nope!

Each time someone is reported a note is placed on their account. For a first offence they may get a warning or a 24 hour ban. The next time they will receive a substantial ban (2 weeks to a month) and the next time they will be banned permanently.
That is a rough guide but each case is looked at on it's own merits.
All reoprts are private and the name of the person reporting it is not divulged. If you don't report it, then we don't know about it! confused

Ok .. I know it`s a rough guide and I`m sure that we would all hate a "three strikes and your out" policy across the board !!
But , are you saying that a persistant whisperer could get a permanent ban if enough people report them. Cos if that`s the case I`m sure that people might think that reporting is worthwhile.
I think that most people are of the opinion that the worst a whisperer is going to get is 24 hours and therefore can`t see the point of reporting it, but if it is possible that repeat offenders will get kicked out completely, it suddenly seems worth making the effort.
That is exactly what I am saying!! biggrin

It's also fair to say that you won't find chatroom op's publically discussing either the people who make the reports, or the reasons / length of the offender's bans.

the genuine respecful males get a bad name becuase of those that are ignorant.
