Even if you were and people had got to know you and trust that you left your work at home you'd be welcome but since they don't you're going to have to hang about a bit longer and work on it a bit more and maybe next time.

Please be aware a few people have droped out so far and some of the others will be coming from a distance, so we need to know for sure how many are going to attend. We do need 8/10 people to make this worth doing.
Also please note that tghis is purely a social gathering....and will be in a normal family style pub. It purely so hopefully we can put some names to faces..or avatars as the case may be.

delight36...short skirts are fine...the only reason I said about it being a normal pub environment, is I didn't want anyone coming along thinking this was anything other than a social gathering of a few friends. Please could those that haven't yet confirmed, one way or the other, please do so. I still haven't recieved a Pm from about 50% of the people to say yes or no to the question of if they will be attending.

well its late on Tuesday evening and the head count for the meet on saturday is 7 !! So I'm going to have to call iy off. Not worth it with just 7. There were 24 names orginally down on the list but we only have 7 confirmed. We have a few that have not yet replied to PM.......but anyway thanks to the seven that did confirm and I will endevour to try again in the new year and maybe we might have a little more luck then.

lewis if you look just above its called off.....and as you only joined today, I'm afraid an invite would have been difficult. We do welcome new and enthusiastic peole like yourself, but we do ask that you have posted on here for a while before being invited to meets. If you have a look at the AUP rules and stuff, you will see. And as i say anyway..the meet is OFF.
