BEWARE rolleyes
YEP today:
400 vehicles linked to outdoor sex crackdown
West Yorks police used the latest technology to log suspicious cars and vans during a surveillance operation at xxxxxxxxxx, on the hills above Huddersfield
Chief Inspector Jon Carter said "These people are causing harassment, distress and alarm. residents living in the xxxxxxxxxx area feel threatened and intimidated. Peopl etaking part in activities at xxxxxxxxxx may well be committing offences ranging from public order to outraging public decency and we will now look to take positive action against them"
he said officers were working through the log of numberplates and many people could be getting an unwelcome visit from police.
bloody hell folks...al the more reason to use this sight to make arrangements before hand and then find quite places to have our fun eh..that way anyone not expected near us will stand out like a sore thumb...

Hang on....... I'll just fetch my tool (s)
It's pretty crap if they truly intend to carry this out though.
What offence was committed, and by who ? How will they prove it ?
If I were to receive a 'visit' from the police, the first question I would ask them is "Why"
Unless a crime has been reported, there should be no visits. Anything else could (and should ?) be construed as harrassment. It is a bullying tactic to scare people away because someone has moaned - more often than not it's the boy-racers that kill the places off, not couples / doggers.
mad
Should be quite funny if the complainant goes up there to check if all 'those nasty perverts' have gone and gets their bloody reg' recorded - they should get a bloody visit too.
:x
I feel very strongly about this because two of hte best areas in the Midlands got screwed for almost the same reason - now no-one will go near them for fear of persecution, either by the police, the press, or the bloody idiots and Corsa brigade who heard about it in the press (they can't read).
:x
Rant over !
Get together and agree somewhere new (only with those you trust implicitly) and leave 'em to it.
The problem with Police involvement with Dogging activities and Sexual issues in general is a very wide reaching one. The Police are the guardians of society. Whilst they have very limited resources their role and responsibilities are immense. They are legally bound to 'stick their nose in' to most people's business whether they like it or not and I am sure they agree they don't want to have to spend time trying to catch us lot out. After all, how many of you have actually ever been prosecuted for your dogging activity, even if you were caught by the police. There may be 1 or 2 but its very rare and yet people are caught all the time, and whats more, that risk is all part of the thrill.
The problem with dogging, as you are all aware, is that a little extra activity in 1 area brings in the young lads trying to cop an eyeful, it brings in the eternal optimist, trying to cop an eyeful and there are some more unscrupulous types that leave condoms strewn across the area for Mrs Miggins and her dog / child / grandchild to find the next day. Of course the Police receive complaints and of course they have to be seen to do something about it.
By taking everybody's number plate and publishing that fact, they are reaching a massive audience. They reach the few people that were there, they won't go again will they?? They reach everybody who reads about it on the various forums, they'll think twice eh?? And they'll reach Mrs Miggins and co who are not happy with the aftermath of the night before. Lots of publicity, lots of recognition for 1 well placed police car and 1 local newspaper interview. There may be letters sent to registered keepers of the cars whose numbers were taken stating that they were seen there and maybe explaining why the police were involved. It is highly unlikely that each and every 1 of them will receive a personal visit. I'd wager not a single personal visit will take place.
The moral of all this is quite simple. There are people who don't want our activities on their doorstep, they don't want to clean up the mess and they don't want the increased 'boy racer' and voyeur traffic. They will always be there and are entitled to their say, the Police will always have to respond in some way or other to their complaints. (The offence by the way is outraging public decency)
The solution is very simple. Arrange your meets on here or other forums, clubs etc. Try looking for other places, out of the way, not advertised anywhere and clean up after yourselves. What the locals don't know, they can't complain about.
Now, who wants a shag....
old bill are always having a "purge" somewhere or other..seen it at our place a few times...the doggers move on, then more complaints from the locals..the authorities realise there were fewer complaints before, so it all filters back..the game is in a constant state of flux..
bigger venues, at certain times do attract attention..come the summer, there will be forty cars driving around our regular haunt at around 10:30pm..the police will turn up and blockade the enterance..they'll march around taking reg numbers, threaten a few argumentative types with ASBOs and home visits...then its all back to normal, until next time...
maybe the authorities will seek to make examples, maybe laws will be tightened..i don't know, or care...its fun for us now, same as its always been...if it gets too problematic, we'll use other places..
personally, i wish people would quit using every visit from plod, or the boy racers to exclaim "thats why we need arranged meets", because thats crap..if the majority of couples wanted to put themselves in dark carpark, at a known time and waiting for fuck knows who, then they'd all be using the internet...the overwhelming majority of exhibitionist, or playing couples have got no interest in the internet...we only know of one other couple that uses the net..and we know a helluva lot of couples.
And if everyone kept their gobs SHUT, about the good time they had at **** ***** the week beforethen there would be a LOT less traffic than there is now....and that DOES mean truck drivers, who, as a species, have the BIGGEST gobs in creation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out of 5 "newbies" in't layby last week (easy to spot, they wander about shading their eyes with a hand while trying to peer into every parked car)...4 of them heard about it from a mate and the other just dropped in for a pee and wondered....
Being in carsales we have been dogging to xxxxxxxxxxxx in over 50 different cars biggrin within the last 12 months so at least 50 people might get visits form the police who have never even been dogging :D
So only 350 people need to worry about being caught now

Interestingly enough my mate is head of countryside leisure in Cheshire and he's not bothered about it as long as people clean up afterwards, don't dameage anything or upset locals. Now that's public service eh?
Dawn + Mark (added value in a fuckfest)

Exactly clean up after yourself! these areas are for everyone, if you leave your spunky tissues and condoms on the ground, the next day the car parks are used by dog walkers and families. Would you want to try and pulled a used jonny from you dogs mouth as he chewed on it  lol
Many years ago I had to rescue one of ours from our cat who had sneaked into our bedroom the morning after!!!
Seems the newspaper has done it's job and scared a lot of people off, It will quiten down and then pick up again. The police have always toured the carparks and they always will It's part of the buzz.
So if you arrange a meet that makes you safe from a vist from the boys in blue, that will only happen if you meet indoors! surely!
have a thought for others and there will be a lot less complaints
and when the police send out there letters to the "owners" of the vehicles informing them that "their " vehicle was seen at an area notorius for dodgy doings , do they then put a stop to the gossip and rumours that go with said letter because that vehicle was being hired, loaned or lent to another driver at the time, do they then take care of the children that lose their dads because their wives divorce them because they either found out about the extra marital fun the fellas were having or the guy was litterally just reading a paper there, ive done it in the past , before i knew what dogging was .
you could say well if they cheat they deserve to get caught but then to say that you would have to know ALL the facts and we would all become judge and jury which is something i for one strongly frown upon in life and especially on this site, so as i am told by the police they aim their campaigns at the doggers to remove the ancillary crime that comes with them, to me that is like removing the shops to stop the shop lifting .
as for condoms strewn about the place how come in all the time ive wandered cannock chase , including many of the famed dogging locations the only condoms ive seen have been around areas that are not dogging locations.
live and let live , go out and catch some real criminals.......
staggy

The Police are the guardians of society.

Errrr......... No, they're not.
They are far from it.
The police are supposed to be in existence to ensure that statutes are observed.
Unfortunately, most police forces become politicised, as the whole 'law and order' thing has tremendous political value if you can say you have improved the situation you inherited.
How does this translate into action ?
You are a political party, and you need to make a big impact on something that you can measure and report via the office of national statistics (or other body). Pick on the easiest targets - low hanging fruit is always the first option.
This means motorists, doggers, in fact anyone else who doesn't make a habit of trying not to get caught.
And does it really benefit society ?
No again.
Does this subject wind me up ?
Oh yes.
I used to be a police officer, and I know what the real problems are, and I also know what is always sent down as 'the latest drive to reduce crime' from headquarters. Yeah right.
This is probably a fairly negative view, but as a genuine dogger and an ex police officer, I think I'm suitably qualified to have a view on this subject !
Incidentally, WRATS was right, Cannock Chase has a few 'spots' and these are seldom the areas that are strewn with condoms etc. The local boy-racer brigade are the biggest culprits, and they truly f@ck up areas that they shouldn't.
Anyway, moan over.
I've stiull got my handcuffs if anyone wants to play ..........
