Hi there,
My name is Naomi and I am a researcher for ITV, I am currently working on a pilot for a new late night talk show - obviously because it is for late night it means we can talk about things that most talk shows can't! I would really love to talk to somebody who is involved with dogging.
I was just wondering if you would talk to me or if you knew anyone who might be interested. The pilot we make isn't going to actually go on TV unless a whole series is made.

I got one got my address from an internet site she said when i asked :shock:

:x :x :x :x Can i just suggest that people don't reply to the email if they receive one.....After having previous encounters with the press and such (Not in dogging capacity!) they are very devious and want to know everything about you and never give any info back, ie where they got our names etc.
They are clever people and trained to do this so best not to reply then they not got a proggy!!! (If they doing a proggy anyway, next we'll see this all over the news channels again)

Of course wether people reply is their own business , but we have to say we should positively encourage approaches like this . I know it sounds weird , but we would much rather have an honest direct approach which can be politely refused than the usual disguised and covert attempts at getting infromation by hacks. Eventually wether you like it or not they will get someone willing to talk to them , and hopefully someone able to talk some sense that doesnt make all doggers/swingers look like drunken irresponsible assholes.
i got one too, i did start a thread on general chat so a mod may want to delet it as i didnt see this one!
Get real....if you did this and it went on tv, you would never go out again. Can you imagine the hastle from the curious the boy racers and anybody else you wish to name. Just because certain people have had near misses from the law and now gone very quiet they want to change things, just as they thought they were true dogger doing it behind closed doors in vans. What has actually happened is that these sort have people have spoilt dogging for what it really was and it will never return to the good old days from over 10 years ago when certain people had never even thought what dogging was.
It suprises me that lots of these so called 'true doggers' only came out of the woodwork when the press were involved with Collymore. maybe they only discovered dogging then but in truth i been at it for 20 or more years. I know its sad, 20 years, but i beleive dogging is a disease and it spreads.
Go on, i'll give anyone the number of the researcher, but beware, if you contact them with pound signs in your eyes beleiving they will pay you (thats what its really about isn't it!!!) then remember it will be you that will have spoilt this pastime for good, cos it will never be the same.

Nobody has spoilt dogging mate . Were as 'real' as it gets and its no different than its ever been. there are just more people . The same doggers who are claiming its been spoilt are the ones who stood around for ages complaining it was dead and there was no one doing it any more . You cant have it all ways , and like it or not as long as there have been doggers there have been assholes , liars and boy racers ( even if they werent wearing burberry . Its very sad hearing people talk about dogging like they wish it was some exclusive club . Its about liberated folks havin a giggle , and its only taken as a serious covert operation by those whose lives have been taken over by it . We certainly wouldnt talk about it on TV , but thats because we dont want to be on TV and we know the way TV companies make every swinger look like an asshole in the edit . We do however respect the right of anyone who wants to talk about any thing in the media at all , otherwise its censorship . Its perhaps some of the guys sat too long in a darkened car that need to 'get real' and realise that they often whine so much about dogging that its hard to work out why they do it at all.
we keep hearing stuff about how dogging has been ruined. strange thing to say, but, we are actually having a good time with it. yes, we too encounter boy racers and assholes, but, we get over it. i don't like typing slow, things aint coming out the way i'm thinking them.

My first experience of Dogging was 27 years ago when having fun in the back of the car with my 18 year old girlfriend, guy at the window wanking, we enjoyed it until he disapeared and was shortly replaced by a guy with a big torch shining through the window. We then got warned by officer dibble for our fun. So you see things have not changed that much. Oh one thing has changed, the layby has just been closed because the local council were in uproar because the site had appeared all over the local rags and tossers had been broadcasting it on the inter web net thingy. naaa, did it myself in the end g....hey, i was asked to do an interview for a canadian radio station once, can remember the station, guys name was kyle. thought it was a bird at first, so nearly went along with it...

Everyone who has their e-mail address noted in their profile on this site, is open to having it "harvested".
It's easilly done...just hover your mouse cursor over the little e-mail icon in the bottom left corner of a message, and the e-mail address is shown in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. :cry:

I must be an easy target for them cos I received 4 e-mails to 2 different addresses!
However I have no intention of replying to any of them simply because as it has already been said, All they would do is sensationalise it and make out we are a load of freaks.
I have had one experience a few years back when we agreed to do an interview at our local naturist club, the interview was fine the reporter seemed genuine but the finished article complete with easily identifiable photo's! (Which she said would not be published!!) turned out to make us look like freaks.
could they use photos from the side of the adverts? Maybe so but are they copyrighted in any way either by the site or the owner of the photo. This could be a sticky wicket.

I have calmed down now since yesterday, but my mind has been thinking about this all day.

If you don't want people to contact you via the site, take your email address off your profile. It really is that simple! We all know that reporters log on here to get details and harvest addresses. We can't do owt about it unless we can identify them, which usually we can't.
I've no idea whether a telly programme could show swinging heaven on screen - they probably could cos it's in full public view anyways, so why shouldn't they be able to? If you don't want to be identified via this site, do not show any pics that could identify you, or use your real name.

Well bizzare as this might seem, I actualy work for ITV !!
I can tell you straight, that ITV has gone Very down market, and hunts Tabloid muck.
Trust me, they will NOT give us a fair share, will expose all our intimate sites to the "halfords XR3I" brigade, and do nothing but sensationalise, in a cheap bid to get headline grabbing rubbish TV.
I know, because we work in this very unhappy ship at the moment. Its become stuffed full of Grab it Quick, and clear off quick headline grabbers.
They will do all of us NO favours.. leave well clear..

I wonder if a certain couple who appear on every other programme / daytime chat show about dogging / swinging (you know the ones, he with the shaven head, she with the long black hair - and yes I do know their names, and no, I'll not repeat them here to give them any more celebrity status) will be invited to earn another 1500 pieces of silver :shock: in appearance money for taking part in the show???

Sounds dodgy to me.
Once upon a time there were lots of TV companies, and each region had one. Then Granada and Carlton bought them all up (or most of them anyway). Then Carlton and Granada merged, and we now only have ITV. But there are still smaller independent production companies responsible for production (as opposed to broadcasting),
So the answer is yes and no, in a way.
I think y'all ought to cooperate with them, this is a free society after all.

J they dont wanna go mate , they dont even wanna spend time and cash on establishing the facts . They just want someone who fits the " profile" to fill a few minutes of dead air time . Under cover reporters waiting all night at dogging sites are about as real as the last mass lesbian carpark sex show you heard about at Scratchwood . Sure there have been a couple of stories in the Sundays . One or two even with pictures , but Ill bet a pound to a pinch of shit the so called investigative reporters were doggers who though there was a few quid in it . Nothing new in thie thread or the very idea of it , its the old doggers paranoia again . You know if we locked Iraqi prisoners in a six foot square metal box , in the cold and darkness for hours on end we'd get in trouble , but in dogging its considered a hobby . No wonder the mind gets a tad fantastical .
