New Gates installed at Broxton

Hi All , visited Broxton today and to my horror found that a new fence and two new gates had been installed!!! big chain and pad lock attached. The gates were open, but i can only assume that they are going to be locked some time!! Anyone else got any further info? sad

hi tigger, talking to the locals the guy who runs the burger bar has got the lease for the site and there is talk of instaling a card system on the gate for the lorry drivers to get in and park up for the night having to pay i think. not sure how they would work it though. hope this isnt the case though, but if he has taken on the expense of the lease it could happen. :cry:

Well there goes another great place if it does happen. mad

You will probably find that soon as the gates start getting locked, people might start removing the lock, then you will get those boys in blue down watching it like a hawk for the vandels.
But also if the burger man has got the lease he could make it private land, then who ever goes on it without permission could be in a lot of trouble.
Well hope it doesnt close as the places around here are becoming very limited for us doggers.

Well I've never heard of the place, but the sensible thing to do would be to get alongside the Burger man, buy a ticket, and have boy racer and plod free fun all night inside.

shame but as mentioned earlier it WAS a good place as pic shows but as we always saw dogging as fun while illicit and shady ,which were sure all good doggers do ,wheres the fun in half a doz guys discussing the merits of your motor rather than your partner best thing for us all to do is dump all the "well known sites" and go back a few years to when we had to look for hush hush places to have fun and get the old andrenilin rush you got when caught in car headlights and wondering if they had seen you and if so would they be coming back "dirty f****rs" but it got us going :doh:

Just read the post about Broxton with gates there.
Was going to visit there tomorrow Thursday evening,
Well had some great times there over the years mostly summer.
We Used to have a small red maestro van and we would park were the truckers
parked at the very bottom and stay all night some great times.
And we got to know some sound people including the truckers always felt
safe when they parked across our van and blocked us in and when we awoke
next morning they had hit the road.
The guy who runs the burger bar <wont say name> I always thought he did not like
what went on.

just back in country and surprised to find all of our previous locations closed off (except New Brighton which was dead anyway). Where's it all happening and when? Don't want to miss out on wife's enthusiasm but if we don't connect soon ALL may be lost.
Like nwcpl41's idea 'though.

shame about broxton,not been for a while ,i,m a trucker and i,ve had some fun there in the past,,any n/west cpls want to enjoy some sleepr cab fun then i,d be happy to oblige...lol.

Shame about Broxton :cry: but the surrounding area is teeming with quiet lanes,surely us Cheshire people can come up with some new locations? we have an excellant county for the sport! smile

dont all pannic !!! the new gates are installed ,BUT NOT SHUT!!! ive been there the last few weekends and they are open all night, so its buisness as usual ,for now.
but you are rite about the burger guy doesnt like the activity on site,but his van doesnt get vandalised and he even leaves his pattio set out , so with the people coming and going theres constantly someone there. to close the site and have no one about, that seems to be when vandles go to work maybe that would not be in his intrest.
what doesnt help is the people who go down the woods and leave all there mess about,i know its been said before , but its rite. there are bins about that could be used.
will keep you all posted if i hear anything more. biggrin
