Participate is a good word. Late at night, 20 years ago, and wanting to share the view a man produced a machete to preserve his place at a window, you might say my enthusiasm for the recreation waned, I still cast an eye about but only in daylight and never seen a thing since.

I really dont think the Machete incident is in any way representative, some people get stabbed just walking down the street. Dogging has died off because the police have targeted it and they patrol many dogging spots and frighten people off. Also as dogging became the rage on the internet, every boy racer decided to have some fun badgering the doggers. Nowadays, if you are a couple wanting to indulge then the chances are you will find someone wanting to watch but a single guy looking for couples playing has little to no chance of success despite hours and hours of sitting in dark carparks hoping to get lucky.

It is, but its getting rare these days. Unfortunately a lot of single guys don't appear to know how to act around a couple.
