I've been following this thread but haven't commented up to now cos I was interested in the opinions being expressed. Anyways, there is certainly truth in what dirtydoggers said above, but personally speaking I don't give a shit if guys at sites are diappointed or feel let down. At the end of the day, I go to dogging sites for my own pleasure, their's is just a bi product if I feel like interacting with them :grin:
From what I can gather more guys seem interested in wanting to join in at least to some extent than just watching, but that's certainly not always true. At the place I usually go to there are a couple of car parks, a large layby and some woods. Some days you can walk in the woods and play and guys just hang around looking embarrassed, at other times you can go and the guys are falling over themselves to join in. You really can't predict it. The layby and woods in particular attract a lot of guys looking for other men and that suits me as I am largely a voyeur. Invariably cos I'm female
guys think I am going to put on a show but often they are disappointed - like I said I don't give a shit. I much prefer speaking to any guy at the earliest opportunity to avoid confusion. I ask if they are straight, and if they say yes I make it very clear they will get nothing. If they say they are bi and they are polite we might ask them if they want to get in the car. I've not yet had one refuse. Obviously though some guys never get close enough to ask and they are the ones that piss me off and they make Satin feel quite nervous. I get annoyed if guys skirt round a distance away or just stand with their hands in their pockets. Even if you get out of the car and stand in the car park with them they keep their distance. They may well just want to watch and are nervous, but they are the ones who see nothing and usually we end up leaving. They could be anyone - nutter, , journalist etc etc, who knows if you can't get close enough to ask! I think that it is polite to make some conversation and it avoids confusion. At sites where bi and straight guys mix, it is important for us not to get confused, but I think it applies to those that are going to show or play too - just ask the guys what they want!!!!
If the guy goes away dissappinted, so what, another more appropriate one will be along soon

I have been closely watching this since it started and now feel that I must add my views (Typed this all out once and the bloody computer crashed so I will try again and hope it still makes sense).
We are a couple who like to go out dogging but for the thrill we get from someone watching us. It is an experience that is erotic, exiting, and very, very powerful. It make me feel powerful – I have the power to allow someone to watch me, I have the power to allow someone to touch me if that’s what I want, I have the power to allow someone to join in with me. I also have the power to say No Thank You!
This has also done wonders for my ego. The fact that someone is enjoying watching my husband and myself ‘getting if off’ in the back of the car, certainly makes me feel good! My confidence in myself as a person has grown. This has helped me both in a sexual and non-sexual way. I have the confidence to speak up when I feel I need to, I have the confidence to say ‘this is me and I have the right to air my views.’ I also now have the confidence, thanks to dogging, to share my new hobby with a couple of close friends and not be worried how they will react (so far, so good).
But surely in this day and age we can all be respectful of each other’s likes and dislikes? We all want different things from dogging and that is what makes if special. If a couple is doing, or offering something that is not to our liking then we just say No Thank You, I am more into …..’ and we go away. We don’t start to be offensive, we don’t start to complain, we respect each other’s differences. This also goes for the couples as well, we need to respect what the single dogger wants cause if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have this ‘activity’. This doesn’t mean we automatically do what they want, but we do need to respect that what we want is not necessarily what they want. At the end of the day we are all old enough to enjoy this fun without feeling we have to do something just to please someone else, and if a person cant see that, then they should find something else to occupy their spare time!
The press has certainly done a lot to affect dogging and its no wonder a lot of single doggers have the wrong idea of what it is all about, but that also goes for a lot of couples as well. Surely there are enough car parks to allow us all to go out and have some fun, without having to resorting to abusive comments just cause a couple does not want someone to join in?
