Experience tells us that in a lot of cases IF you have a shite childhood, with shite parents, the probablity is the kids will also take on their parents traits when they are adults or young teenagers too.

But ya see Brighton she is a poor Mother, who needs to go out....awwwww.
...
She was not breast fed at birth, or she has had a hard life...blah blah blah.

So do childhood experiences affect adult lifestyle or not?
dunno
I am not a child psychologist so how can I be sure?
I personally would say that what happens in your childhood, can have a bearing on the person you become.
When people have problems in their adult lives, it can a lot of the time be traced back to childhood. That is not stereotypical...it happens but how often who knows? But it happens.
Irony is not to iron

Brassy is to brass
As precious is to little..
As hypocrite is to hypocrisy ..
As Friday is to weekend.
" yup old labour all the way "
BUT it ain't old Labour anymore...it is NEW Labour, with different policies and are not run by the unions anymore.
They are the same as the Tories only under a different colour.
Ya need to get more with the times. wink

Unless we try to change behaviour, thru parenting classes etc it will just carry on thru the generations
How much better to help improve things than simply condemn
I used to go down a sure start center where many of the mums there said the courses had totally changed the way they were with their kids, from discipline to diet
Course after the next election all theses centers will be closed so we can fund tax cuts for the rich

Sorry but I think you will find that social services are already forcing people to do "parent classes", most of which are "taught" by politically correct numpties with no children, and no experience of parenting. Their agenda is not to make one a better parent, but to make sure you are allowing your children to be brainwashed by the establishment, (there fellow liberal elitists).
Tax cuts in general only benefit the working to middle classes, raising the amount one needs to earn before paying the higher rate, for example, is a great incentive to the ambitious. It is a disgrace that people earning more than £37,400 per annum have to pay 40% as apposed to people earning £35,000, who pay 20%. So it's "please boss don't give me a pay rise" or "no chance of progress here, I can't afford a promotion".
It's a little bit like communism, who would be a doctor if you can get the same money driving a bus?

The classes are often taught by other parents, its called peer support, not numpties, and have little to do with brain washing, but exploring how to be better parents,
Dont we all benifit from admitting we have things to learn?
And tax cuts rarely help the poorest and margialised, cos they are struggling so much anyway, triclke down economics does not work, just look at the us under bush,it just helps those who can afford accountants.
Kenty you are right:scared:new labour and the tories are preety much the same now,
Will probably vote green or liberal,at least the liberals want to reform the electoral system

Wasted vote though. lol
