Always makes me laugh....when they say " If your a timewaster don't bother contacting us " LOL....as if they going to take any notice !!!
Picture wise I do love a more erotic picture....leaving a little to the imagination. maybe a picture to show they have a sense of humour.
Must admit I am not so keen on the extreme close up on genital parts....always think they would be better in a some medical journal !!
Just had a mail from these people on another site
thier profile, every word of it says ........
Mid aged professionals looking for lote of filthy fun mmmmm
One might be forgiven for thinking that a professional couple could write a sentance correctly and spell lots..
I have a question for all the professionals on here "what is spellcheck and proof reading" oh hang on I will ask that of the non-professional lower ranks and uneducated on here, that way I might get a correct answer
From your profile, Mids:
'...there is no need to send us abusive emails telling us how you think profiles should be, we won't tell you what to write in yours and expect the same courtesy in everything we do'.
OK, so your posts haven't been abusive, but you're pointing out errors in profiles; that's hardly courteous, is it? What if those people read your posts on here and realise they are being made fun of? And by someone whose profile is littered with errors?
People in glass houses and all that.
The 2 profiles I have quoted are not members of this site, as I have stated.
My profile is probably full of errors, but as I have said many times on here, I am not an educated person, failed my 11+ didn't get a single school qualification, no CSE's, no GCE's, not higher education leaving school to join the army at 16, I do not claim to be professional I am honest about what I am, I do not claim to have a Doctorate, Queens Commission, BSc, be a member of the clergy, a Barrister or any other recognised Professional Qualification.
I do have a sense of humour and see the funny side of what some profiles say.
But I take on board your comments and will make no more observations on this thread.
The word flounce springs to mind.
Damned if you do, Damned if you don't, but don't let your ego get the better of you, your not the only destroyer of forum threads on this site
I think all this stems from the word professional. People do put this on there ads and profile all the time.
Now correct me if I am wrong, but to be professional means to get paid for doing some work . Therefore you can be a professional cleaner, dustbin man, or a professional solicitor or bank manager !! So by saying your professional simply means you have a JOB !!! Does seem a silly thing to put really !!!
as for spelling, and grammar......well I went to a private school, then a grammar school, and then college...and got A'level in English, but I still can't spell to save my bloody life ... I simply thank the lord for spell check !!!
There was a time when to be classed as professional you had to hold a certain qualification such as a BSc, a Queens Commission, a Doctorate, a Clergyman (yes man because back then there were no clergywomen), a Barrister etc.
There was the exception of Sports Professionals which meant that your main income was from your chosen sport taking you away from amateur status where you had a main job and did sports part time.
Now while I accept that times have changed and this is the 21st Century where we consider others to be professional, I find it amusing that some people think that their job makes them more professional than others, an office manager, a shop owner, a hair stylist with her own salon.
I went to Morrisons yesterday and found all the staff carried out their duties in a most professional manner, my dustbin was emptied in an equally professional manner, it is one thing to indicate that you have a job it is another thing to suggest you are better than the checkout girl or refuse collector.
At the end of the day is it necessary to have a job in order to be a successful swinger or to have a clean home, clean clothes or wash before a meet ? are those that do not claim to be professional going to have a dirty home, not bother to wash before the meet, greet you in a dirty tracksuit and holey T shirt ?
