It's a TV show made by a cable channel in the US about a Californian bike gang/patch club.
It's loosely based on Hamlet from what I've been told.

It is indeed, not going to tell you a great deal about the club it's based on (well, in the UK anyway), but the idealogy is the same. Love it - a bit of escapism!!

It's based on a real patch club? That's news to me.
I don't have cable so the first I knew about it was some adverts for the second season and a mate who is in NABD (National Association for Bikers with a Disability) talking about it, favourably.

Love it - although not so sure about the bikes though some are OK most are a bit shite I think. Brilliant cast though, especially Katey Sagal (Something so bloody horny about her) going from peg Bundy to Gemma was enlightened casting. Ron Perlman ads is always quality and ads immeasurably and of course our own once Biker grove kid and Queer as folk actor Charlie Hunnam.
