OK, here's an idea, that may or may not work...
You know you have that avatar, you love it and people comment on it, but then it gets a bit old and you feel like chucking out the old one and replacing it with a newer model... send the old avatar here! We'll look after it it and let it live out it's days, peacefully surrounded by other old avatars, come and visit it on sundays... just like you would with some aged old crone of an Aunt... AND , if you ever want to UN-retire an avatar you know where to find it !!!
There are also a few people who have retired avatars you'd love to just look back on and remember them... mine is the retired OckySweeties one... (oh! still get all funny at the mention of it!)
Obviously it has to be hosted somewhere, and they HAVE to be avatar sized!!!! I recomend imageshack as it's free and dead easy to use. click here : Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting

Matt if you make a new avatar every day, you'll end up flooding this retirement home with some very good and groovy Av's... making our bunch of Av's look lame and boring, but yours wont mean a thing to anyone who uses this site regularly...
and besides... an avatar is supposed to be loved and cherished for weeks and months, thendiscarded. (and that flashing one is doing my fe*king head in!)
