So I have just signed up to twitter and I'm a bit bemused with it all?
Does anyone post on here?
Also is there a dedicated feed from SH?
Due to working abroad a lot I can't access this sight so I was hoping to keep track of what's going on with SH via twitter!

Never understood Twitter or the reasons behind it. Social networking sites are a strange thing for me to understand, but I suppose it saves on the stamps and the telephone charges eh?
I have had a look at a few posts on Google and it would seem that many people get some kind of kick out of muttering a few nonsensical words on what they had for dinner. What a strange way to waste a persons time on.

Due to the nature of my job overseas for 9 months a year only some sites are accessible, this one not being one of them.
Facebook and twitter allow me to keep in touch with loved ones etc.
however twitter is currently infuriating me! Lol
I see your point clearer and clearer with every attempt at working it!

I recently designed a website for a client and they asked me to place their twitter feed on a page... I thought really? I mean most of their tweets were inane comments about nothing in particular. I advised them to reconsider or be careful what they tweet but hey the customer is always right rolleyes

I don't do Twitter, at all. It's not that I don't do social networking sites as such, I use Facebook a bit and don't see much distinction between that and my time on forums like this as far as keeping in touch goes. Problem with Twitter is there is just no way on this planet I'm gonna get something down to 140 characters or less. Not a prayer! lol

I don't "get" twitter tbh although I find Fookface a great way to keep in touch with family, friends and social groups.

Twitter totally confuzzles and bamboozles me. ive tried it a couple of times and just cant get on with it. I do use fook book though as the format enables me to share and post pics with friends, speaking of which Ben i have a lovely photo of you and minx from saturday, i must post it to you kiss

Many people use Twitter in different ways, we use twitter as a fast way of directing our followers to our professional blog. Until recently, we didn't use Twitter in our personal lives but have found it pretty effective when it comes to meeting people new people and we've had some great party invites too. Furthermore it's another way for us to meeting people away from the usual sites. We see Twitter as text messaging on steroids. biggrin

i was on twitter for 2 days and they found my account was hacked and various abusive messages sent from it.
i recovered the account and then deleted it.
never use twitter again.
