Hi guys,  just wondering who’s had the vaccine and if this will affect people’s feelings on meeting?

We are both booked to have it next week. But we still won't be meeting till the guidance says people from different households can mix again. It's very very frustrating but we are in this position because lots of people didn't follow the rules.

I had my first one two weeks ago now waiting to be invited for my second.

I'm hoping things get back to somewhere near to normal as possible soon and everyone can start meeting friends and family again and enjoy what we are all on here for.

had my first one today. Hope it means meetings will be possible soon

Had mine a few days ago but changes nothing, even though I might have better protection in a couple of weeks time I would hate to think that I might infect and possibly endanger someone.

Couldn't agree more xx

I had mine 6 weeks ago- It was Pfizer I am waiting for second dose- no reactions. If you are offered the jab then  please accept the offer. ignore the anti vax crowd

Getting first jab tomorrow.

I had mine back in January, booster is booked for March.  Until the guidelines are different it wont affect anything, the new research on transmission is very hopeful though so im sure everyone can remain patient a little longer smile

We are both having our first jab on Monday and Tuesday.. like mentioned above, We will not be doing anything  swinging wise until we have had the second jab and the lockdown is fully lifted officially.

I’ve had my jab in January as I’m a frontline volunteer at our local hospital. Will review about meeting if and when the opportunity arises.

I’ve got mine booked for Monday 😁

I had the Pfizer jab last Friday and was ok a bit tired sat but ok after that. Hoping once its universal we can all get back to having fun again

Absolutely - can't wait - though not before households are allowed to mix again which looks like June at the moment

We both had ours 3 weeks ago and have a date for next month for number 2, hoping to get to our home in Turkey as soon as we are allowed seems like ages since we were last there,( Mid December 2020 )

I had the Astra Zeneca Jab on Saturday afternoon, I stayed in bed yesterday but feel fine today

Had my first jab on Monday (AstraZeneca) with the second scheduled for late May. Had flu-like effects for 36 hours but I'm absolutely fine now. As others have said, I won't be dashing to meet up until I've had the second jab and we're officially allowed out.

Any problems with those that had the Astra Zeneca? ... read about blood clots and find it worrying. Although the ‘company’ say it’s not associated with their vaccine, I would prefer to hear WHO say that than a biased company.

no problem here

Yes, just saw that on the news. Initially it was just the company. But now WHO and European regulators, which is a very welcome confidence boost.

out of 23million administered vaccines there has been 28 cases of blood clots after.  13 with the AZ and 15 with the Pfizer.

To put this in context, in everyday terms 800 in one million people will suffer a blood clot (embolism), not as a result of a vaccine, just as a statistical occurance

This stinks of media hype and bad press to me

Id be interested to know how many of those 28 were smokers or predisposed to embolisms due to physical health conditions

It sounds political. What a shame these governments are using this vaccine and their populations lives as a political pawn. If in their opinion, the vaccine is so bad, then why not send it to poorer countries that will accept it, rather than it going to waste.

Totally agree the benefits of getting the majority of the population far outweigh any perceived (but unproven and unsubstantiated ) risk of blood clots. I suspect this is a means of providing an excuse for poor vaccine rollout in many countries.

Hi ye agree with you so as a country we be well in front of the rest of world Dont know if that will help with travel aboard?

and the hopefully we can all have some fun

Fingers crossed - at least for fun in this country xx

🤞.    We are all due a little fun soon surely?

had the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine a few weeks back and apart from my penis expanding to a comfortable 14 inches I can honestly report no side effects!
