Staying in Nama Bay area any advice on where or not where to go, anyone else there at same time looking for a drink and chat and hopefully some fun, only 2wks to go get in touch.

Hi there,
Am just back from a trip to Dahab but have been to Sharm a few times. Couple of things for ya...if you're not planning on leaving Sharm ie going to the pyramids etc don't get a visa you don't need one...save ya a tenner each. Exchange your sterling over there ...better rates...they have cash machines where you can put your sterling in and it will give ya Egyptian pounds. The local beer is Sakhara not to bad...if the mrs drinks spirits get em duty free at the airport...branded spirits are really really expensive. Some good eating places there....camel bar for good pub type grub and there is a great Indian next to the camel bar...hopefully you will find some fun....plenty of peeps will be out there, hopefully like minded ...lol....we wud definitely have met ya if we had been there....we met a couple a couple of years ago....just got chatting round the pool....was great.....we still keep in touch although they are at the other end of the country.....any more info needed just drop me a line

Hi there,
Ras Mohammed is a national marine park. Would definately reccomend it to ya, its a day out on the boat snorkelling on the reef,really worth doing. you will be able to book it through your hotel....

Hi I have just got back from Naama bay 3 weeks ago and loved it so much I am going again on 30th May for two weeks. Where are you staying? And are you all inclusive?
Take your snorkels the fish just a few inches in off the beach are unbelievable!

We are staying at the Tropital Naama Bay hotel all inclusive which is in the center
we have been told, what about your hotel and are you travelling alone or as a couple.

I am at the Novotel and yes I am going alone but have many people there from my last trip to look after me lol We shall have to arrange to meet to have a drink or three!

Hi all,
There is a good chance that i will be in sharm at the same time...managed to get away for a week...i will be staying at the Hilton...diving during the day but free late afternoon and the evenings.....

Hi,
which Hilton are you staying in? Dreams, Waterfalls, Sharks Bay?
We have stayed in the Tropitel Naama Bay 4 times now, always been a nice hotel, and right next to Bam Buddha, Hardrock Cafe, Pacha etc
Also used Ocean College dive centre, which is based on the hotel beach, under the casino boat, always well looked after.

Hi everyone
Well that's us back home and thanks to everyone who replied, had a great time staff were friendly and looked after us for the 2wks, well we did tip them so it was cold drinks all day at the pool along with fresh towels and at night time at the lobby bar never short of a lager/vodka. Bye the way it was hot averaging 38/40 deg most days and 28 deg at night.
