Swinging Holidays in September

Hi all.  We were planning on visiting Cap D'Agde for the first time in September.  It would have been our first time at Cap and our first swinging holiday.

However, we've just come across a review that says that the curtain comes down on the season at the end of August.  Bugger...

Some questions for you lovely people:

1) Is that true?  Is September in Cap really a damp squib?

2)  If true, can anybody recommend any other swinging "resorts" whose horizons extend beyond the end of August?

Hoping someone on here can help.  Thanks!

Obviously the earlier you go in Sept the busier Cap will be.  By the second week of Sept the lingerie shops have their sales on and the supermarkets are not restocking some of the stock.  The bars and clubs are still going tho.  After mid-Sept, some of the pubs will be winding down. Late Sept and your seeing the last of the season and it will be a bit quiet.

We going last Week of Aug and first week  of Sept.   We often go these dates and have great fun.

I guess it depends on how early in September you were thinking. As previously stated it is getting quieter in September but still fun to be had, I too usually go last week in August into September (bike Week) last year for the first time I went for 2 weeks and although second week was definitely not as busy there were still plenty of people about. This year I will miss bike week and will be there 2-9 Sept. You might want to check out the capdagdenaturists forum on groups plenty of knowledgeable people on there if you need info or help

I think the only thing left out of the comments above is that it can be quite cool towards the end September and the winds can blow.  All the clubs may not be open but as written above there will still be some, and still lots of fun.  On a pure naturist sunshine basis late September can be iffy and you may need to be further south.
