hi to everyone, hubby and i have been looking for ages to meet up with likeminded people in the South Lincolnshire, area, or come to think of it within the county. we live near Boston, and there really doesnt seem to be a lot of people prepared to come out and say hi!! lol
So if there are like minded people, ( bearing in mind that respect and courtesy are important ) who would like to make contact, maybe just meet up without obligation, just to chat and see then get in touch, having searched high and low, there really isnt a focus in the lincs area for this, so hopefully, those that are just looking, who havent made the plunge yet ( so to speak lol ) who would like to meet for a drink or more GET IN TOUCH!!! - have fun to all, and to all have fun!!

But I have to say I usually find myself traveling about the country to meet people as it seems a bit thin on the ground round here.
Maybe a social to let everyone say hi would be fun, we did have a very good one in Peterborough earlier in the year - maybe Lincoln next time.

Hello All,
Having recently moved to Linc's, And being a dreaded single male.
I have found a distinct lack of people wanting to play. They seem to be into e - mail tennis and then go into hiding, when the chat gets around to a social meeting. Or they try to get you to join a site, which would then give them FREE membership. But as they say just keep trying and you will get there in the end......
But Luuvcock if you are sorting out a meet for chat and drink. Count me in , if not tooooo late.

Hi I'm in the Lincs area and have all but given up trying for anything like meeting up in this area, or even on this site, and just pop in every now and then for the quality chats on the forum. Yes I'm from Lincs, (yay!) but I'm also a single male (booooo!) PLUS I'm under 21 (boooo hisssss!) If you ever do get round to arranging a meet let me know because I'm always up for a few drinks with some like-minded people, regardless of how much sex is included!
Well people, all i can add to what has been said is i am game for it.
I would think that it is now down to picking a place to attack.
NOT trying to take over the meet but would be willing to, or help sort out a Place , Day, Time ,etc.
Don't really need a excuse to go and look for a venue but it's best i can think of at the moment.....
But how many are really going ot turn up. ??????

We've been following this thread with some interest, so much so that we have decided to delurk. We think the idea of a Lincolnshire munch is a great idea and long overdue. For this reason we are hereby offering our services to coordinate said munch if that is the will of the people.
We'd propose it to be in Lincoln (we know of several suitable locations) as it is the county capital and has plenty of places to stay should people wish to travel and stop over.
We've seen that others have volunteered themselves at one point or another but nothing has been actioned as yet. As a genuine couple (verified on other sites etc) we'd hope that more couples would be encouraged to attend and not be worried that they would be the only ones there apart from the horde of single blokes (not that there's anything wrong with a horde of single blokes now and again
)

I think its a great idea but in our experience people generally want someone to organise meets who is well known on here and they know they can sure you guys would be great at it but i dont think your well known enough for people to want to come if they dont really know you.
Ive put up a poll in the cafe to see what level of interestthere would be for a full on Munch

If you are serious then organise your own social evening in Lincoln for a nigth when you are free, you dont need to call it a munch and I for one would be quite happy to come up to lincoln for a drink and to meet a few extra local people.
There seem to be quite a few locals and singles on this thread who might be interested, it would be a good way for the lincolnshire newbies to get to know people.
