Advertising for a meet on here is..............

Look at those looking to meet up on this page, and none of them have recieved replies.
Perhaps the forum should be renamed.

People tend to reply via PM, you know discretion and all that, I've advertised on here before and had succesfull meets off the back of it. It tickles me that people seem to think they know everything that goes on because they read it on here. A lot more hapens in private wink

Ok, fair enough if you get PM'd.
It was just an observation from looking through the list of ppl hoping to meet up with others. Ther's at least one with 5 replies all from himself, obviously another guy who hasn't recieved a PM.
Having placed loads of ads on Photo Ads over the past few years and a few on the forum, and having answered lots of other people's adverts, imaginativly and included the requested photos, etc, without any replies, I really have come to the conclusion that swinging is confined to the North and major cities only.

we do ok with our xtasia meets , we usually see someone off here each time we go, its only because we advertise them in this section, i know its a bit different for single guys but if you dont give it a go........

and maybe he didn't make himself so irristable that he didn't give people the reason to say " yes, i HAVE to meet that person"
so you have come to the conculsion that "swinging is confined to the north and major cities only" based on what exactly???....
cause on the front page i have seen socials for surrey... and essex.... and the south coast socials.....and bristol...... and in the last few months there have has socials in west sussex... portsmouth... totton....bournemouth.... plymouth..... and i could keep going on and on....
and i suggest you take a stoll thru the ads at some point...... loads of ads in there......

...just a thought Peter,but if you changed your profile pic it may help.
Clicking on a profile and the first thing you see is someone mooning at you just may not be the way to entice people to actually want to meet you.
You could be the best thing since sliced bread,but no-one will know cos they have already clicked on the little red box with the cross in it.

looking at your profile I would definately change your main pic and maybe even keep the more 'personal' ones to your private gallery, then you can send them to interested parties if they want to see that.......
it's been said many a time that you get out of this place what you put in, so why not spend some time browsing, writting some good ads, and also replying to ads that you find you meet the criteria for.......or even get yourself known on the forum and get down to some socials or munches......
I'm sure the people you are looking for are here.......problem is there's a lot of people looking for different things, so it takes time..........

i don't think you do need to advertise.... but it doesn't help your cause by whinging on about it.... smile

you can be re-active or pro-active about it all.... i don't think comments like "it is a northern or major city thing" is being proactive when it planly isn't true........

I ask for PMs rather than replies on the LMU thread. I do ok and have no complaints.
