Yes, you're right, we are in the minority, because most of the members on here have posted less than 20 times. A large proportion of the people who join the forums have never posted and a significant number of those that have posted have only racked up less than 20 posts, most of those will follow the following trend:

What you are forgetting though, is there's a seperate section purely for personal ads. The Let's Meet Up section of the forum was set up to advertise things like munches and club trips. Like it or not, the forum part of the site and the chatroom is here to promote and encourage the social side of swinging.
Yes, us regulars will offer advice, because we've been on here for a while and we know what works and what doesn't. The original poster of this thread would appear to have been a one-hit wonder anyway, so you wasted all that effort defending him for nothing.
General fact about forums: They do revolve around the regulars as they're the ones who keep the place active by posting regularly. Forums are a social construct, therefore by their nature, rely on people posting regularly and often to keep things fresh and interesting. Plus, I don't know why you and Trapper are whinging about the forums not revolving around regulars when you've clocked in at over 100 posts a piece. You both are well on the way to becoming regulars anyway.
Whilst I appreciate the advice can sometimes come across as overwhelming sometimes, in the main it's given in good faith and is there as an option for some newbies who may want to take it on board.
In terms of your own observations of people on here, we all have our personal preferences and that's our perogative. However, unless you're prepared to put yourself up there to be judged, it's not right or fair to criticise others who may not be as perfect as your good self

I have to disagree:
Post meet ups here, including personal meets, party invites, club get togethers, Munches, webcam sessions, phonesex and instant messaging. However, please post dogging meets below.
The LMU is for any sort of meeting, including I want a shag now type posts, as the quote above clearly says (taken from the forum index).
Not everyone comes on here looking for friends, some come purely in the hopes of a shag...many are disappointed but some are lucky. There are short posts, mostly from couples admittedly, that get a lot of responses and end up with successful meets and prove that LMU is a way to an instant shag. Should those people be told to change their successful posting style?
Someone who posts for a "shag now" does not neccessarily want to make friends before they play ... the scene is full of people, us included, who will play first and make friends after. Are we not proper swingers then, because I keep seeing that real swingers make friends first and everyone else is merely a member of the "quick shag brigade".
Everyone is here with their own agenda. It would be a poorer world if everyone was the same. Advice is sometimes best given when it has been asked for ... unasked for advice can often appear patronising.
