Midway Truck Stop is just South of Whitchurch in Shropshire at the junction of the A41 and the A49...

As the meet is tooo far for some people thought it would be an idea to arrange a meet at a venue to be decide HHHHMMMMMMM in the southern counties ie bucks/berks/surrey !!
Anyone interested in a Swingers bike club meet for a cruise and then lunch for like minded people !!!!!!!
So the club could be called SMC ( Swingers MotorCycle Club ) all models and makes will be allowed ...ideally heading for meeting the 1st Friday on each month !!!!!!!
Start date to be arranged yet !!!

Perhaps a regular (ish) meeting like this would be a good idea for us bikers. And we would be quite happy for the venue to move around the country.......after all that's what bikes are for smile

This probably isn't the right thread for organising something like this, after all, it wouldn't be right to hijack this thread regarding the meet at the Midway Truckstop. But this could be the first of many bikers get togethers up and down the country. For us, Sundays would be good as during the summer, Sunday is the day that we like going for rides ;)

You obviously know that the truckstop is a dusty gravel car park inbetween two busy roundabouts don't you?
Would it be a good idea to say meet there and then ride to xyz for lunch? confused

Just seen this post and i must say it sounds greeeeeeeat !!!!
So can someone confirm all the details of where, what time, when & how many etc etc then we can book our calendar lol

The only probs with Wales is they have a Zero tolerance in operation for everything so i will be taking my "Legal" bike and Road Angel :shock:

You charmer D&S, I'm quite aware no-one says I have to come. If you can read properly you'll see it was a positive contribution based on your own idea of going for a ride somewhere, I'm asking do you want to decide before we meet where we should ride to?

well I like the idea personally Scandal, but as its our first meet on the bikes maybe we should all talk more as a group at the Midway first.... but then I'm happy to go along with whatever.... dont forget this could become a regular event wink

np Scandal....it wasn't meant to be a riposte, but you sounded as though you disapproved of Midway....we're easy that's all..it dependsa on what kind of day it is etc etc, and what people feel they want to do.....we had it in mind of maybe going from there across to the Ponderosa and on to the Great Orme or somewhere over there...but we might just end up chatting and drinking all afternoon...
We're open to suggestions...all we've done is start the discussion..

we will be there,,, our first post ,our first, meet,(hopefully...)we have looked at this site every day for months storys,forem,pics,the lot, very keen, very cautious,but it was the bikes that got us to register and hopefully get involved..............
