Given my recent record of pulling out of socials this is going to sound crap, but I'm coming down with a cold, so I'm at best a possible for tomorrow evening. I'll see how I do, but if I feel like I do at the moment then I probably won't be coming. sad

well there is a saga already and we havent even got there yet
set off around 1ish with the intention of getting to the hotel for checkin at 2, have a wander around a few bars, find where we are etc.
pulled away from kerb outside house and hear crunch, some little tw*t had put a bottle infront of the passenger side front tyre, thought nothing of it, stopped at shop for fags and cash realised had forgotten beer so had to go back home, could have just bought more but for once decided to curb my spending ways and went back home, thank god we did, on way out of town, car sounds funny, only got a feckin flat tyre.
now being a girl i have never had to change a tyre before, my parents and aunt and uncle went to france early hours and are probably pissed somewhere by this time, other uncle isnt answering phone, start to think we are f*cked, phone mate and get her hubby to come to my rescue, changes tyre for me. have now taken tyre to only place open in hartlepool on a saturday and its an hour and a half wait for the repair, so have had to leave tyre, which they are not sure is repairable as i actually drove on it for a bit, yea i can hear the blokes thinking stupid girl, but hey its my first flat what can i say.
am now at home waiting for the very expensive phone call from kwik fit to tell me tyre is repaired (hopefully) to be able to put it back on and start the journey all over again, hopefully will mean i should arrive at sometime around 4ish, which could be a godsend as parking in newcastle is a git at the best of times and people may be going home by then and the car parks be emptying,
hopefully will see you all tonight, but i have a feeling i wont be sober

Hi Sean,
It's looking like work stuff is giong to run late so not sure if I'll even make it. If I can it'll be about 10ish but if I don't, have a good night & i'll owe you a shandy next time around.
